I think this looks good! I’m down for an easy fighting game. I’m 49 yrs old, I don’t really like fighting games. I love rpg open world, like Yonder, Zelda, Animal Crossing (coming 2019) type games. I’m having a very hard time finding games like them, that are good games. This looks cute n fun. I’ve watched other videfor this game. I like how you describe what the game is about, and what the player will be doing.

@@SideEffectsmusic I love it personally! It's relaxing and fun. If you love exploring, doing side quests, and want something that isn't battle-focused, I recommend it highly. It's like skyrim or Zelda with no fighting. The people aren't the best in appearance, but the scenery is beautiful and the animals are cute. If you have a ps4, you can get it for a lot cheaper for that. I started playing on Christmas and am 40% done (on vacation currently so no work and not much obligation to other stuff, so I've put in more hours than I normally would in a month if I had work and plans). Even being 40 percent done according to my save file, there are still entire areas I haven't been to yet. The murk blocks just enough to keep you from being overwhelmed with how big the world is or underwhelmed by exploring it all in one day. Some puzzles are time based and all of them are easy enough to not cause any stress but still interesting enough to be at least amusing. If you enjoy going to the far off places or high up yet somewhat difficult to get to places in games like spyro to reach hidden chests or prizes, yonder has a ton of that. It's really fun and rewarding to explore every inch of the map. The night and day cycle seem fast at first, but there's nothing bad about night and no penalty for taking things slow (besides maybe not reaching an area that's time dependent in time to use it), so you get used to it. Even if you miss the time you need to unlock something, setting the game down for five minutes or so gets it back to the time you need. The farming aspect, which I've barely touched at all due to how enthralled I am with the plot and quests, will probably be part of what makes the game play longer overall. There are also events based on "seasons" to keep you playing, though they're based on the in game calendar rather than our years. I believe each year is about 30 days.

@@alistercat Interesting thanks for the information. I'll have to try it out if GameStop gets a used copy. I bought Cat Quest and it's been fun but it's essentially just a bunch of button mashing combat nonstop. So I guess it's good for pick up and play. Yonder seems cool but I'm skeptical of no combat. I'll have to try and try it out. Got yooka laylee while it was on sale so I'm going to take a look at that. Tried escapists 2 and so far it's a little harder to grab onto

I would constantly see this game on sale on PS4. It has great ratings but I couldn't get over the mobile look and I'm not really a "cute" type of person. However, after catching my eye several times I finally picked it up. Still didn't start it... Finally did months later. Best $3 I've ever spent. Seriously guys, give it a shot.

Bought cat quest for my little sister who loves cats. I ended up loving it myself. Is it simple? Yes. Is it easy? Yes. It might be simple and easy, but there's something about it that makes it fun. I love the story in the game. The story always kept me wanting more and kept me playing. The dungeons are also fun and there are even some challenging ones. The cherry on top is the fact that you can upgrade your gear and skills. Even after I beat the game, I continued to upgrade my cat to make it the best cat there is. I highly recommend buying for any age. Especially since its so cheap!

I just picked this up on the Steam Summer Sale, and I am loving it! It takes all of the fun stuff from role playing games, and cuts away all of the boring filler. And while the cat puns are definitely a plus, I'd also say that the added cat modifiers and new game plus modes bring even more incentives to pick this title up. Great review for a great game!

One tip though, for a short review, you put way too much time into explaining the story, the story is really simple and could of been explained in a much quicker manner. Let me just say WOW! Great work! I feel that your channel is deserves a LOT more subscribers! when I clicked this video and saw 355 subscribers I thought that this wasn't going to be a trust worthy review, but after watching the video I thought "Is youtube glitching? there's no WAY a guy this good only has 300 subscribers!" I do feel that a improvement to your intro would be very helpful in the growth of your channel. You may have already changed it, but if you haven't that would be something to work on. Without trying to make the game sound bad, it’s a lot simpler the Bastion. Never the less, Cat Quest is a lot of fun, all of us have sunk 20+ hours into the game and loved exploring its adorable world.

I just finished 4th Time on Android. (Twice on PC) the Mobile dont have a roll/dodge funkcion so the fight tactic is totaly different. Loved it!

I love this game, but the walk speed is slow. Once you get fly, you can move faster. The boss dragons are tough so I had to go do all sorts of quests before killing them

I did beat cat quest Click or tap read more to se how it ends After you defeat all the dragons that roam the land you get sent to a void where you see the white cat and turns out that your sister isn’t real and spirry is on white cats team. Then you fight the white cat which is FUCKING HARD! I died so many times. Anyway once you kill the white cat you get to see his old home and it made me cry to find a picture of the white cat and his owner. After words you unlock mew game were you can start a new game but with challenges you can add like 9 lives, no armor, no weapons, ext. I love the ending☺️
