I have a much older version of this watch with Eco Drive and the same movement that is OVER 25 years old and is still running strong…on the same capacitor cell…amazing Watch! Punches way above it’s price point. Cheers from Canada.

Great review.. Im a bit late here i guess. I have the same watch, BNO 150. Had it for about 4 months now, it came on the polyurethane/rubber band. One month of wear and I couldn't take it any more, very uncomfortable. Bought a very nice stainless bracelet, BRAC 35 from Long Island Watch, they make two types of bracelets specifically for the Citizen 150 and 151. Very comfortable and dresses up the watch quite a bit, I love it. Citizen watches are criminally under rated!!

I finally subscribed, realizing that we have really similar taste on watches. I tend to go for big, manly, and well built value. Getting this one at a decent price in a bracelet is tough now.

As far as I can see it only comes with the black dial... I'm the same as you, I want the metal strap but with the blue dial watch. I've looked at just buying the strap but if you can find one they cost as much as the whole watch.

​@@simonweunfortunately many people throw away a perfectly good watch - because they don't know how to return the watch to normal function, having slipped into energy saving mode (skipping second hand). They give the watch plenty of sunlight, but the second hand is still skipping after several hours - so assume the battery/capacitor no longer holds enough charge. Make sure to pull out the crown fully to recharge the watch if its power gets low.

How would you rate this against the Maverick? Which one do you think is better quality in your opinion? I am currently debating between the two. Thanks

Maverick is my favourite. But this is just as high quality. But I prefer the looks and bezel on the maverick (similar to ceramic coating). However id argue the maverick is bigger overall due to the case size

Great video👍. I bought the green dial one because it came with the steel bracelet. I have it for about three weeks now and in my opinion I think it’s impossible to find a dive watch that good for its price!. However, coming from lighter weight g-shocks, the heft of the watch may be uncomfortable for others.

The bracelet looks very well made, though… I think I’ll have to buy another one, just to be able to swap straps… Can I ask you what part of England your accent’s from? What makes the Citizen visually small in relation to the size of its case is above all its dial, which is less than 28 mm, with a large bezel. This is the case for many divers, who wear more like 40-41mm watches instead of the 42-44 that they actually do.
