I know a ton of people who have it would not be thrilled if this happened but those of us that don’t have him, I really hope they rerelease the original Retro carded Spider-Man. There are a lot of things they can still improve on and make him that much better.

What do you mean won't be thrilled? Everyone would be thrilled to have another classic costume Spider-man 😄 doesn't matter if its on the Retro body or not (a new body would be great, but if they use back the retro body, then at least a different head sculpt)

@@Stillfigurineout I just meant sometimes if they make the rerelease figure better than the original in a significant way. It can kinda undermine those who tried to track down the original or something like that. I kinda felt that way when they redid Gambit and Rogue, but honestly I was still pretty satisfied with the original ones so I didn’t buy the newer ones. But yeah from what I’ve heard in the rumblings of leaks and rumors is that we are gonna get some good Spider-Man stuff this year, including the rerelease of retro Spidey.

So... I imagine that you too watch English-speaking content mainly because the French community around Marvel Legends is almost non-existent? Being French myself, I find it quite a shame that most collector toys KZbinrs from our country are still focusing on medium and high-end brands such as Hot Toys. Ok, it's beautiful and the quality is very good but not everyone can afford it so seeing reviews on figurines that I can buy is more satisfying since at least I can order online the figurine if the feedback is positive and I like the character.

@@Gonzora I totally agree with you but it's true that we lack a lot of this kind of videos in France but personally it doesn't bother me more than that if the content I'm looking for is in English as long as I have what i need i'm satisfied

@@mir1242 Yes, it's not too annoying when you understand English but it's a fact that many French people are bad with foreign languages. But hey, since a video is enough to see if a figure is good or bad I think even the most "anglophobic" guy can watch one english review to decide whether to buy or not. And there is a positive point to our situation: as there is not much advertising around entry-level collector's toys in the French community it's therefore easier to obtain a copy before the stock runs out.

The toy biz black symbiot suite Spidey still looks good though and still hold up pretty well today. It can do a better split then the new symbiot Spidey but I like new symbiot Spidey better then the old one not because it's better. but because it's differently a new body design that fits really good for this venom Spidey and it's more fun to play with. It doesn't get loose like the old toy biz version one. I Actually a got a big bag of these new Hasbro symbiot figures. I got them before the price went up by now. Lol 😅 Nice review 👍🏻

I noticed that the body of that old toybiz black suit spiderman is the same as the super articulated spider-man with magnetic feet released by toybiz for the spider-man trilogy. It looks the same except for the sculpted web pattern.

The head can be taken off easily for that Spidey figure, but the hole in the head is a bit smaller and cannot fit the new figure. And even if it can fit, the head looks too small for the body.
