This one smells good on me. Soft, slightly sweet skin scent. My husband smelled it on me a whole day later and was like, "What is that? It's amazing!" I couldn't remember what I'd put on the day before 🤣 He sniffed a few of my recent wears and when he smelled If you a Musk, he was like, That's it! It definitely smells different on different people.

To my nose it smells so similar to kaleidoscope and Indigo Dreams. I like it, kind of unisex. I like to see how different people react to it since it seems different on everyone.

If You Musk isn’t my favorite but I don’t hate it. It smells like a clean skin scent. It’s very clean. I think it’s really pretty on the right person. My daughter can wear scents like that and they smell beautiful on her. I think it’s honestly a skin chemistry thing. I do agree that there’s a little of that Vanilla Blossoms feel but with a lot of musk. To me, this scent is basically musk in a bottle.

Mary, I feel you on this. My skin HATES musk. I keep a wide berth, especially if it's strong enough that they put musk in the name. They can pack up If You Musk and the new Musk and send them both back to the depths. Great video!

I did order this one out of curiosity after I really liked the regular "Musk" from the that simple 3 scent collection. "If You Musk" couldn't be any more different! "Musk" is a natural scent that would make people think you just naturally smell great, "If You Musk" is so overpowering that it made me cough. I agree with the idea that it attacks your nasal passages. Usually when I don't like something I can see how other people do, but I just don't understand the great reviews it's gotten. To each their own, though!

I agree 100%. On me, I smell nothing, the reference to paper might be spot on. I was disappointed since many scents that tend to be more musky such as missing person by phlur smell really good with my body chemistry and I love it. I never bought kaleidoscope which tells me I wasn’t a fan and I don’t care for glossier. I am returning this one

Hey girl! I love If you Musk and Fresh Vanilla Blossom a lot and I'll tell you why lol! I get a suede or leather note in both that I love. It's not for everyone but think of that note as a suede/leather and see if that makes more sense, maybe... but love ya! 😘

Great vid Mary. ❤ I generally hate musk so I wouldn't buy this if they paid me. And Fresh Vanilla Blossoms was a huge nothing sandwich to me. Probably the lightest nothing mist ever. I blind bought a mini when it first came out. Could not believe they would sell something so watered down. I bought a full size Cozy Vanilla Bourbon and I do like it.

😂 Thanks Mary for taking one for the team. I ignored Kaleidoscope when it first came out because it just didn’t interest me. And supposedly If You Musk is a repack of Kaleidoscope, which was said to be a dupe of Glossier You; and is supposed to smell different on each person. I don’t know if it’s for me either. But apparently Kaleidoscope was selling for a lot on Mercari because it was a cult hit and no longer available, until now. I guess it’s an acquired taste. I get a peppery smell that I don’t care for. But I do like the Musk fragrance from the collection with Apple and Lavender. To me, musk should smell like Coty Wild Musk that I wore back in the day in high school 😂.

This video is hilarious!! I decided to watch because I totaally agree with you, if you musk sucks..I’m crackin’ up LMAO! I can agree with the “fire” note you thought of…the initial scent I get is actually straight up body odor! Sweaty pits 🤮🤮 after 10 minutes of dry down I do get like a slight powdery skin like scent but it’s so meh and there’s no WAY I can live with that first spray!! Fire, BO and spilled wet pepper! 😢

No, not my Mary coming for If you musk. I actually love this one. Normally our sniffers align too, so maybe it doesn't work with your skin or your nose picks up notes mine doesn't. It smells actually sweet to me like your skin but better and Outta that collection my husband loved that one the most.
