Overall, the Dino Charge Morpher is pretty great. Comparing it directly to the Gaburevolver shows some missing paint applications, and a shrunken down design. Sure, the functionality of having two Zyudenchi is lost, but given that feature was only for the "Armed On" function and "Vamola Mucho!" attacks, I wouldn't really say a lot was lost by removing it. For the price you pay, you get a pretty solid toy that still pulls off the look of the Japanese version just fine. The sounds are neat in their own respect, and the core functionality of the toy is untouched. It's great that all the Rangers will be able to have calls in the Morpher, and I'm glad all the Attack Chargers have unique sounds as well. Given it's about half the cost of a retail Gaburevolver, it's a great pick up for kids and collectors alike. Can't wait to get more Chargers and have some real fun with this thing.

I don't view "this is smaller than that other thing" isn't much different than saying "Deluxe Optimus is smaller than Voyager Optimus." Still viewing the toy from an independent point of view, simply using the other version as a point of reference. I understand though. I'm not even mad or offended or anything like that. It's cool. I always appreciate the criticism.

This seems like a pretty decent toy. Granted, I am a huge Kyoryuger fan so I'm naturally going to like the original more. The voice for this thing isn't bad, but it is nowhere near as awesome as Shigeru Chiba.

I do like it but at the same time it does bother me that it has an awesome classic Power Ranger look yet they've added a NERF gun scheme to it. It's not the biggest deal or deal breaker though. Overall a cool concept when looked at as a whole & when mixing Power Rangers & Dinosaurs you can't go wrong!!! Great review as always SS!

Is it as good as the Gosei Morpher? In terms of the amount of sounds, not even remotely. Aside from the different names of the Dinochargers and their respective critters, the few remaining sounds are all identical. In terms of playability, however, it blows the Gosei Morpher outta the water and into the grease. I mean, it's not just a morpher, it's also a weapon...who doesn't like those? Yes, it's smaller than the Gaburivolver...we'll probably never have Japanese molds again since BoA wanted to do their own thing anyway (of course, the crappy economy is probbly part of it, too). But it's still pretty fun. And with both the Dinosaber that's out now as well as the slowly creeping T-Rex Supercharge Morpher...that's more fun added to the party.

I have always believed that the FCC regulates singular-colored caps on the barrels of toy guns is so that they can be easily distinguished from actual guns. I think that's actually wise of them due to few cases of firearms being improvised as cap guns. Should this really be that big a deal to complain about these safety caps merely because they produce show-accuracy issues...?

One thing I don't like is the "rounded" sounds, kinda like a sloshing sound. Those were usually in bootleg toys but are now in the official toys. The "sharper" sounds sound better in my opinion.

I didn't even notice the light at first. That has got to be the weakest light ever -.-' IMO it is a pretty pathetic toy. Not accurate and generic and obnoxious voice. I mean, yes, that's what you'd expect, cost-saving and all that. But seriously, it is pitiful. But from all the reviews I've seen, BoA knows how to win over American fans with virtually no effort, even despite how much it lacks.
