This is a monster of a pedal, the so called "boutique" brands don't even come close to. How many pedals can give you a chorus on the right and a phaser on the left or both mixed when using it in stereo? However beware, if you wanna do some MIDI programming in order to control it with a MIDI foot controller, 'cause the users manual won't tell you anything, you're on your own...and it's a ballsbreaker, no standard MIDI Continuous Changes and Program Changes here, you've got to keep in mind that it's technically two pedals. You've got to set it to A/B mode, always turn on or bypass both channels with each continuous control command you give and then set the program change for the effect you wanna use on A/B or A and B, never give A and B the same value, won't let you use a Chorus with a Chorus, because technically there's only one Chorus pedal.

Can you use more than one effect from this pedal simultaneously? Or is it limited to one effect at a time? That seems to be the downfall to most of these pedals/processors.

You can use two at a time. You can have them routed in serial, parallel, or each one coming out of an individual output (A and B).
