Nice review matey, did the can and filter make any difference, did it need rejetting or was it all like it when you got it? Thanks.
@RossRS8 жыл бұрын
+ErwoodRides Thank you :D I've done a few other videos like 0-60 you could compare. I brought the bike with the mods but I find it picks up well and rev's faster. It was upjetted by 20% so now I'm using a 100 main and 38 pilot jet.

Nice review, I found the seat high surprisingly low when I sat on my friends. How do you find the rear brake lever, my bike uses the same as it's a re-branded Senda and I find it a bit small :/
@RossRS8 жыл бұрын
+Ryanpetrolhead Yes I thought it would sit really high. The lever is tiny so my foot kept slipping off when i started riding, im used to it now though

Nice vlog mate. I'm just about to buy one of these but I have one concern. l keep reading /hearing about carb problems, the bike cutting out. You mentioned it too and I wondered if you'd resolved the problem. A few months down the line, do you still rate the bike?
@RossRS8 жыл бұрын
I sold this bike around 5months ago to get an Aprilia RS 125 as it was just too slow for what I needed. It's great fun around town and offroad but when you're on the duel carriage way it's pretty hard to keep up with traffic. I had the carb issue through-out my ownership of the bike and I managed to sort of 'resolve' it by adjust the float needle which helped for a few weeks then it went wrong again. If you've got any questions please ask :)

So....I bought one of these....and it kept trying to die on me. I noticed that when the tank was over half full no problems. I found this on line. Problem solved. Is it okay if I leave this here Ross. in case someone else finds your vlog while looking for an answer. Still enjoying your posts. Peter Seriously Oh awesome, that's great to see that your issue is resolved. I never actually found the issue when I owned the bike

Hi, as I believe that you are looking around for a bike you should first consider what style then go from there :)

The best part of video is where you say that top speed is 75 MPH downhill. Well i have some news for you, if you find hill big enough you could get 300 MPH out of it to just go down in neutral. Why don't ppl stick to top speed possible on flat road, downhill mean nothing.
@lewisjones11826 жыл бұрын
Imants Stūrītis no, it does have some relevance for machines with such little power (a 125). down hill will push it up to it's maximum revs in top gear, and it wont take forever too. take off 5mph and that is gonna be it's max speed on the flat...
@bigfoot12648 жыл бұрын
Hello m8good review, you keeping it then? I think they are alright bikes for the money
@RossRS8 жыл бұрын
Thank you, atm I'm not too sure. I like the bike but I might get a 2 stroke
@bigfoot12648 жыл бұрын
I have mates who ride two strokes and they say the maintance is high. I've do e 700km on mine I think it's a good bike reminds me of my cg. My max speed is 60mph but then again I weigh like 17st
@RossRS8 жыл бұрын
I've had to take my Derbi apart quite a few times with the past few months and a trip to the garage so i'm ready for the maintainance/ reliability side of a 2 stroke
@drewnixon43564 жыл бұрын
Is there anyway to get it a better top speed as I’ve just bought this bike and it gets abit high revs 50-60mph I’ve just bought a 16t sprocket as well off eBay

Hi Ross, does the bike have a fuel gauge on it?
@RossRS7 жыл бұрын
No it doesn't
@MrHuskiedoo7 жыл бұрын
Ahh right! I was looking into these bikes and discovered quite a few other 125's don't either! Do you find it quite easy to work out how much is left in the tank? easy to see into the tank or hear?
@RossRS7 жыл бұрын
Adam Young Ive never had a fuel gauge on my bikes and Ive had no issues. Just reset your trip everytime you fill up and you will roughly know how many miles you have left
@MrHuskiedoo7 жыл бұрын
That's a great idea. Cheers!
