Thanks! My brain was still recovering from reading it, so I’m glad the review came across as mildly coherent. She has a stand-alone that features time travel called Kindred that is a great intro to her work. That’s a good place to start. This duology is probably her most insightful work, though I also adored her Lilith’s Brood trilogy, which is kind of Asimov-ish style sci fi
