Not taking anything from this one you did a pretty good job in explaining it and from the b roll looked just as good as any I've watched on here... this 1 you're reviewing runs around 600 which is great way to save a little ... FLIR tk is around 700 and the ATN goes from between 600 and 800... hell they probably all 3 have the same innards... appreciate you showing another option for us getting into the thermal money pit... stay safe frosty and free buddy

Thanks for the feedback. I just released another video of another brand. I tend to agree, I think they are all using the same innards. They are interesting so I’ll keep testing them but I personally want an actual thermal scope for coyote hunting. New video has a field of deer… pretty cool.

No. FLIR is not usable. They have extremely bad innards.

Answer: According to the instruction manual, recognition distance is 236m for humans and 625m for vehicles and detection distance is 944m for humans and 2500m for vehicles. Hope that helps! I’d send it back if there is no battery. I’ll have to check mine this weekend. Definitely didn’t have to buy a battery but don’t recall if this unit it is built in or removable.
