Review: Guitar Man by Will Hodgkinson

From the early 2000s, "Guitar Man" is UK writer Will Hodgkinson's account of trying to learn the to play the guitar well enough to meet a self-imposed deadline when he had to perform a live concert with the instrument. Along the way we learn about the history of the instrument, its role in popular culture and many of the people who developed its technology and techniques. Deep and meaningful stuff or just a bit of fun?
