Hey that bass does sound great. I think I'll pick one up for band practice so I'm not constantly taking my Ultra Jazz out. Thanks! Cheers

The best way to solve the noise issue on jazz bass pickups is to change them to EMGs J or JVX. Easy mod to do yourself and even though it is active, the battery fits in the cavity and it is dead silent.

@user-sf6vn3nh3h ill more than likely get it shielded and then keep the pickups because I do really like the way these pickups sound

What's the weight of it? I'm very much going to get one as soon as Thomann have them in stock again!
@TheBassJourney3 ай бұрын
@heikkihartikainen9881 it's not super heavy so I'd say it weighs about 8 pounds

There’s much noise at the background when playing the bass. Is it from the bass guitar due to its single coils ? Or ?

@ikedanquahawuah1491 yes. The single coil pickups produce a 60s cycle hum. One of the trade offs of playing a jazz bass
