Food it what makes a culture. Foods are influenced by multiply factors Political interaction, Immigration, Colonialism and area. Hey is canon that England gave America bad taste in food. Sometimes a food is so inriched in a another nation culture that the country it came from gets forgotten. Even French and Japanese food follow this example. The famous croissant is from Austria not France and Macraron is not even French is Italian and Ramon noddles in not even Japanese is Chinese. I hate the term "not real food" because everyone have a different taste in food. Also sometimes have something in their area that is special to them.

Who thinks ramen noodles is Japanese? 👿 (just kidding, but no Korean would think they’re Japanese). Yes those are good points. It is true that croissant is Austrian and macaron is Italian as well, but at the same time, the versions we’re familiar with have a clear French twist (I’m sure Austrian kipferls aren’t as buttery nor do they use puff pastry, and the Italian meringue is used in Italian macarons). It is funny how France in the comic admits to doing things like that but considers them improvements but hates when America and Canada bastardize his cuisine.

Why do people hate American food so much?? We have amazing recipes and cultural food that taste amazing. Not all of our food is fast food, junk food, and heart attack inducing.

It’s definitely a funny joke, but it can go too far at times. That and British food (they do in fact have regional cuisines contrary to the stereotype).
