Just bought this yesterday. The area light actually has a dimmer function if you hold down the button. Didn't know that at first but I paid $16.97

If you hold down the beam bottom, you can also dim the beam light.

The red LEDs are to preserve your night vision, not for riding a bicycle in the dark. Would it work in a pinch if you have nothing else? Yeah, but there are better solutions for bike riding that are bright red, that also strobe in different flashing patterns if so desired.

Love the light. But battery. Don’t last too long. But for 16 $ by two. Lol.. the husky mag light. Last good amount of time. Love them both.

Well its fairly cheap and quite bright compared to some other head lamps in that price range

from my test on the 600 lumens husky headlamp, on just precharge let it sit wait till it dies. It claim 2 hours on the back of the pacakage but by my test it lasted 7 hours. Yep

I got my about six months ago I will have to exchange it because adjustment up and down lap won’t stay in position it just keep dipping down

@@rsc557 no they don’t need original packaging What we did I took out new light and they kept packaging to use it for my old light when they send it back to manufacturer 👍🏻

What's the difference between that one and the one without the rechargeable battery

Main difference is the lumens and the non rechargeable one has a green light function as well

This one has options for disposable batteries or the rechargeable battery. Unfortunately the adjustable headlamp that tilts down fails after a couple of years. I'm trying to figure out how to repair that. I love the amount of light. I bought extra rechargeable batteries for mine and keep them all charged up for power outages.
