I first became intrigued by Floris fragrances when I saw one mentioned in one of the James Bond novels by Ian Flemming. I find that their perfumes are elegant and unobtrusive unlike modern ones (including the reformulated older fragrances) which are synthetic smelling and so strong that they could knock out a horse.

love love love Floris London. have around 20 Floris fragrances in my current collection. the only one out of these that I've tried is Limes and sadly it was a no for me. it reminded me of a popular breakfast cereal we have in the US called fruit loops 😂 the lemon and citrus notes in Limesweres just too artificial for me.

I'm an American and can understand you perfectly. If someone is criticizing your English, they need to take a backseat and keep quiet. Haha! :) I'm trying to find a rose scented perfume to replace one that is no longer manufactured and discovered this company and that the Queen wears this particular fragrance. Would you say White Rose smells predominately like roses or more of a combination of scents?

So stay alert:) Concerning white rose - yes, I would say it is predominantly roses, very intense smell of natural roses. Another very natural scent is by Acqua di Parma Acqua Nobile Rosa

Thank you for reviewing Limes! I have it and I find myself using it more than my other higher rated and expensive stuff. It is something I enjoy just for myself I like it more than peers who smell it on me. Limes is unisex I am assuming, but Lily of the Valley and White Rose is for women correct?

Limes had dismal longevity for me. Would have been great if it lasted more than a few minutes!
