I have used these in my Bibles for quite some time and have had mostly good results. The ends twist to extend "gel" tip. The gel tips do eventually dry out enough to become bothersome, even when remaining capped. The colors fade after a while on some paper and settle in for a pretty good look on other paper. The gel can be a bit tacky when first applied and may cause thinner Bible pages to try and stick to one another at the highlighted areas. However, the pages are easily separated. Thanks for the review.

I prefer regular hi-lighters just because I use the chisel tips in various ways. I'll do things like broadly highlight an entire key verse with the entire width of the tip; maybe highlight with a narrowly broad stroke a key word, then underline with the chisel the definition for that word. I also use colors for different things (i.e. blue for things pertaining specifically to the Holy Spirit, pink for words and definitions, yellow to call out important verses, green for important truths, etc. I'll box verse numbers for specific reasons, like identifying prophecies and such. I also use my pen to further underline certain things. Most notes in the margins are written in pencil. I don't know. I guess there are people out there with even more elaborate ways of marking their Bible(s) for study, but there's a lot one can do with a simple set of highlighters and a pen and pencil. I like the interaction it provides, which helps in the memory department.

I got the accugels for my mom and she loves them. For my bibles I use the Zebra Midliners, Pilot frixion erasable highlighters, and the Zebrite bible highlighter. No ghosting and no bleed through with any of these. The midliners tend to smudge when use on top of a pigma micron. Have a bless evening and thanks for the awesome video.

I understand wanting a highlighter that doesn't bleed thru ... however, sometimes the bleed thru ends up being pertinent to a later study. Always felt it was God highlighting for me.

I have these and they do leave a tacky-to-the-touch feel on the paper until it's completely dry. However, they don't bleed through, unless you go over the same area two or three times, or if the Bible paper is on the thin side, say 28 gsm.

The pink and purple eventually bleed through. If you go back some time later, there will be bleed through.

When I began to study the Bible I wanted to use regular not to thick hue markers. Come to know months later after I began without ever being aware that there were markers that did not bleed through on the opposite side of the sheet of paper. I use the Bible Dry Highlighter created by G.T. Luscombe Company. They used like mechanical pencils where anytime the operator presses and release on the top of the pen a small amount of lead advances. When not being used then you press the top of the pen dispenser and then push the lead from the bottom opening so as to store it back into the dispenser, these pens come with no caps. They do not dry out because even though the package says that color material is lead it feels more similar to a combination of lead (similar to pencil lead) crayon type of mineral combined used to highlight the Bible or other papers that it is used on. It does not bleed through unlike some of the markers I used at first. The colors pens and refills distributed in are blue, green, pink, and yellow. I wanted to use the markers that are put in the stores that say they do not bleed through but I am informed that pages can stick in our Bibles or times, the hue left on the pages loses its brightness over time, the markers dry up even though the caps are placed on them, therefore I do not buy them personally. Before the Family Christian Stores went bankrupt I used to buy them there. Now I find them at a small Christian store that sells them. The online Amazon sells them. If you are seeking reviews there that may help you make the decision to purchase them or not.

How could you get along without them all the years... Can also be used in thin paper Study Bibles commentaries! Also check 0.1 mm fineliners from pigma micron.

It's great that it doesn't bleed through and that there isn't any ghosting, but I find that using gel highlighters feels like using crayons and that's a big "No, thank you!" from me.
