One of the issues i had with this is the battery, I noticed it wasn't charging any more and when i took the battery out it had swollen and was bulging out pretty bad. I bought a new battery and it works fine again. Just something that should be watched out for. Over all love this remote.

My Harmony one is almost 3 years old, and I still get around 10 days use before I need to charge, and yes it does work with apple tv.

I've had the remote turn approximately 3 devices on simultaneously and switch to the right channels, the remote is not as quick as you would like it to be(due to ir limitations). And for ps3 (wii) gamers, you need to buy some (ir)plug before it turns them on automatically (ps2 actually does turn on:D)

Great review. All your review did is confirm that I purchased the best version of the logitech remote. I purchased the logitech 720. Doesn't have touch capabilities like yours. But the software is the same and has all the features of yours. It has movement sensors just like yours. I think the best part of the remote is that the battery lasts months on a recharge. Of course it varies from person to person but for my usage I almost never recharge it. You should check it out.

Ive had this remote for about 2 years now... Its great! Except for one problem, When you throw it on the couch it will press all the touchscreen buttons... If it was capacitive it would be soooo much better!

Using the harmony for 2 years now and for me the battery lasts around 4-5 days. Bought it in Germany for about 130€, worth every single dime :D

After Jobs' first iPhone keynote, it's a wonder why every TV remote doesn't utilize full touch technology: slide to different user screens with ease (eliminating physical buttons) and the company can upgrade to new products and add new screens as often as necessary.

mine lasts 6 days before a charge mate, they are actually very battery wise. I guess its how you use it on the first day with the battery charger, like full charge it and let it go flat and then charge it again

Ive had it for several years works great love it and the customization you can set up. Ive had the same battery since day 1 and mine last almost 2 weeks before it needs to be charged, sounds like you may of got a bum battery.

you will be able to use this for weeks, lay it in the charger at night if it starts warning with battery, and its ready again next day.. 2 mins of charging will get you trough a tv session i would say.. so yea thats not a concern.

Dayum! I jumped from a couple of your 2009 vids to this one and your talking speed went into hypermode! LOL Anyway, I have had this remote for nearly 2 yrs. And while it is very lightweight and extremely convenient as it removes the necessity of having 5-6 remotes, one disappointing feature is that the battery life seems to have declined tremendously. If it is off the charger for more than 4 hrs, it's nearly dead & I need to dig out the other remotes. =/ Hopefully, they've improved upon this.

As an all around fantastic universal remote, I cannot recommend RTI remotes higher. They are a bit pricy, but you pay for what you get.

My remote-control cost $5, and it does the job... It does not have a touch-screen, and also not a backlight. But, it is cheap and it does the job!

Funny now in 2016..they still sell for 400 new and 200 or so secondhand. I was LUCKY as fuck, i found one inc cradle at a THRIFTSTORE in Carolina. I bought mine for 2usd and 50cents 100% working! LOL!

If you're only getting 2 days out of your battery something is wrong. I work from home and have my TV on a lot. I use it all day and it lasts me over a week. For your own good call Logitech.

Has anyone had a problem with leaving the remote in the base station too long? I left it there for like a week once and the battery had expanded so that the battery cover could barely hold it anymore (maybe that was a little stupid on my part). I had to get a new battery to charge it again.

You should actually try "listening" to his video...It is a rechargeable battery, which he said doesn't even last two days...he never said it lasted for five days, what he said was that the charge should be able to last five plus days(as his expectation, not the reality of the situation). It is as if you didn't pay attention at all, then commented. Lazy people should just learn to listen to the words that come out of other people's mouths. Don't just "hear" the noise, try listening...
