Curious about the original Mini-T spring rates, as well as the HR, as mentioned.

My pro roller has the same issue with the rear springs. One side is completely different from the other. I've checked every suspension component, and everything is fine except that one spring.

Exactly, if you set the collars with a caliper you will actually tweak the car. I've mentioned it to several of our race club members that you can't really set the collars the same.

Very informative. Thank you! By any chance have you noticed that the rear springs, LOS214017, are shorter than the pro-roller's aluminum shock springs?? Please tell me I'm not crazy. I have a Mini B and purchased the same rear springs, and I have to run them with the collar adjusted down or else they'll bounce around a bunch because of how short they are in comparison. Do you have the same issue?

I just measured mine on a caliper. The 2 springs(RTR and spring kit) are within 1mm, maybe 0.5mm difference. Maybe your kit had a set of front springs in there? the rear springs I have are 36mm and the fronts are 24mm.

@lawton70 thanks for the info. OK so first thing I need to say is that I edited my initial comment. I do NOT have an RTR. I purchased a PRO-ROLLER and I erroneously said that the three-spring Mini-B rear spring kit, LOS214017, had shorter springs than the RTR when I meant to say it has shorter springs than the pro-roller. I agree with your findings. My spring kit for Mini B rears, LOS214017 is 36mm also. It seems that the fronts for the Mini B are 24mm, LOS214018. So we agree on the Mini B kits and that they will accurately replace Mini B RTR spring sizes. HOWEVER, here is the interesting part... Pro-Roller Mini B's come with longer springs at 40mm! Also, what I'm noticing when comparing my Pro-Roller Mini B to my son's RTR Mini B, his plastic shock piston shafts seem to be shorter than the aluminum pro-roller, hence why they would sell the RTR with shorter springs. In conclusion, these are my findings: Mini B RTR's come with plastic shock bodies and 24mm front springs / 36mm rear springs. The three-spring Mini B replacement kits match these sizes, respectively with LOS214015 and LOS214017. The Pro-Roller Mini B comes with aluminum shocks, which contain longer shafts and thus longer springs: 30mm front / 40mm rear. The above mentioned Mini B spring kits are NOT for the Pro-Roller' aluminum shocks as the springs are too small. It seems that in order to replace the springs on Pro-Rollers, you need to buy the Mini T spring kits instead of Mini B spring kits. The part numbers are LOS214015 front and LOS214014 rear at 30mm / 40mm respectively. Again, they need to say Mini-T for the aluminum pro-roller shocks. Hope this was insightful!

@@luisdance3157 This makes complete sense in hindsight. I believe the pro-roller comes with the Mini-T aluminum shocks, so maybe this is where the difference comes in. Thanks for the update! I'm going to be building a pro-roller for offroad this summer, so thanks for the heads up around the spring sizes!

Thank you for taking the time to address these nuances and details. Your videos are easily the most informative about Mini B setup. ❤
