The Mamiya C330 f Professional TLR Film camera . I compare it with my C220 . I need the change the Light Seal Foam as it may be the reason why the photos are not as sharp as on my C220. If you want to help my Channel Expenses now you can on the Link below -- many Thanks -- I now have some 'Fresh Film ' and Batteries !! www.buymeacoff...

If you don't have a spool installed in the takeup position the shutter will lock.

From memory, the focusing screen is detached by extending the bellows slightly, and pulling out a lever at the front of the screen. This allows the screen to be detached without unscrewing the pins. The parallax bar also shows exposure compensation on the screen, as the bellows are extended. The blue dot 80mm lens should be very sharp indeed. Back in the 1980s I used a C330f alongside a Hasselblad and there was no noticeable difference in sharpness. TLRs had become unfashionable by then, though they still had a strong following among wedding photographers. The weight suggests they are a studio camera, but being young and fit at the time I carried a C330f on camping trips! There was a later C330s which was lighter and had more plastic parts. Thanks for reminding us of the Mamiya.

I’ve got a C330. Doesn’t jam up as yours does. Perhaps it needs to be cleaned and oiled etc. Love the C330. Great camera.

Hi Peter, to change the viewing screen remove the finder and rack the bellows out. At the front of the screen is a lever. Pull that out, lift and slide over the two small pins at the back.

This brings back memories. I had one, a full system of lenses and accessories including a funny looking prism in fcat, in the 80s. It was a very very fine camera and the lenses were pretty good too if a little prone to flare. I sold them in a true mint condition to a dealer for next to nothing. Fool me.

It has been time since I thought of these beasts. Is it possible the viewing lens is out of sync with the capture lens on the 80mm? I do not recall an adjustment. Perhaps, you could try the trick you used with the microscope slide. One of the extra ground glass units may do the trick. Good Luck Chris

Always seemed over engineered to me. All of the features are nice and something you’d fantasize about being on a regular TLR. But all of them implemented means a lot of extra size and weight, not to speak of complication. Would almost certainly buy one though if I found one in good condition. I think I’d prefer the 220 though. Simpler and you have more to chose from because most people think they want the 330.

Lovely video Peter! got the same camera last year, i remember removing four screws and flicking a lever at the front of the screen to change the focusing screen. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mne7ha2Yotiglac Havent used the camera much, i did find that my 135mm blue dot lens had the same sticking problem when cocking or firing it too

very Helpful ! I did not have to remove ANY Screws in the end -- just pull out the lever after racking out bellows and screen slips out OVER the tow small screws at rear.
