You say that it won't be going in and out of the gun but what if you wanna switch up and shoot fsr through a regular mag during those big games?

If you are swapping round Ball and FSR you really should rechrono your marker. If you set your marker up to shoot roundball then swap to FSR without adjusting those FSR will be moving at around 320-330 fps. While if you set up for FSR and swap to roundball you’ll end up shooting at only 260ish. So I would suggest you make your decision before going on the field and if you wanna swap, come off the field, rechrono and go back on.

I got one for my Tippmann TMC and used it the first time this weekend. I really like it as well! What happend to me a couple of times is that I had double feeds (2 balls at once). Any idea what could be the reason? Unfortunately I haven't tried other options as I didn't notice it often while playing. Speed and sensitivity are set to 2 both. Is it a speed or sens problem?

if its double feeding id set both too 1. And then only adjust one or the other to 2 if it feels sluggish. The box mag is something you gotta fool around with to get just right. Keep in mind you might need to adjust how to play and shoot when using it as well.

Yeah, only being right handed makes it kinda useless for anyone who shoots left. I'm no engineer but I'm sure there is a way it could have been made switchable.

What are your thoughts on the loader components vs that of speedhoppers from Dye Rotor or a Virtue Spire? Apples and oranges? If you could magically take the internals out of a high end speedball marker would it be able to feed fast enough for full auto on a T15?

Mabye. It is definitely something I would have to think about and work on. First thing that comes to mind is how to coordinate the rotor forcing balls into the marker at the right speed and pressure to keep up with full auto without crushing the balls when you suddenly stop shooting. Im sure there is a solution but it probably takes someone with more mechanical knowledge then me.

@@MaritimePaintballPodcast Yeah fair. I have a rotor on my mini. I've never unloaded at full auto but I know it can shoot it pretty quick. At a guess I would bet that speedball ramping would be in the same ballpark as the speed of the T15 full auto. I guess the trick is that your box mag is below the gun pushing the paint upwards vs a hopper pushing paint downwards.

The fact that it's right handed only also makes switching hands problematic. It's a fact that 50% of all corners are left handed.

Haven't run into any and I don't think I've heard of anyone having issues either. Short of breaking it or letting it get really dirty it should just keep working.

bro, the biggest complaint people had was that it doesn't feed full auto. You didn't even test it in full auto, just told us that it won't feed full auto. What is the point of having a high-capacity box mag and your magfed marker if not to shoot full auto and then tell us it feeds well. The whole reason most people would even consider getting a box mag is for running or simulating a heavy gunner. This thing gets two thumbs down.

My T15 does not have the full auto kit. Also, when you look it up on MCS’s website they clearly state it does not do full auto…

​@@MaritimePaintballPodcast but doesn't that defeat the purpose of installing a box mag? I mean in all practicality it would just make much more sense to just carry regular mags. Lighter, faster, more maneuverable. Most people looking at box mags are trying to feed their FA markers. Which is, as you said in the video, one of the biggest complaints people had. Technically speaking, I'd be better off using the hopper adapter and a dye roto to achieve what this thing "tries" to do. Basically, if you're going review an item and it lacks heavily in the department that it is kinda was supposed to fill, then does it still deserve such high praise?

@@crazydpaintball the box mag like so many thing in Magfed is partially aesthetics and partially practicality. If you want to run more paint on the field, without mags, but don’t want to use the hopper do to asthmatics, this box mag fills that gap. I use it regularly still and on semi auto simply so I can use my T15 and not carry any mags. The box mag was designed to operate at semi auto, I tested it at semi auto, and it does it job well. It sounds like it simply doesn’t fit into your kit or play style. While I’d suggest anyone who thinks this will be fun to play with to buy one, I would suggest you avoid buying one.

@@MaritimePaintballPodcast well, for one, designing a high capacity force fed loader to only shoot at the rate of semi-auto only was in fact bad design. aesthetics alone isn't enough to give such a high praise review, you're missing the point. Most magfed only games that allow a box mag do NOT allow you to refill it with pods. Speaking of refilling with pods, there goes your claim to aesthetics and again, might as well just have gone with a right side up hopper. Your absolutely right this does not fit my kit, and at the same time, thousands of others somehow feel the same way.
