Continuing the trend set by MMPR 2010, the main figure line continues the 3.75" scale. Unfortunately, they have downsized a bit further, clocking in at roughly 3.5". The first assortment contains the five Megaforce Rangers: Red, Pink, Black, Yellow, and Blue. Despite the downsize, they feature the same joint build of previous figures including joints at the neck, shoulder, wrist, hip, knee, and boot. Each figure has their logo sculpted onto their chest, and the amount of detail is pretty good for the price. Certainly not the best, but pretty decent. I somehow feel they're a step up from the Samurai ones, despite the smaller stature. It might just be my love of the Goseiger suits though. Each figure has their Gosei Morpher on their belts that can pop off and be held, a Power Ranger Blaster (though all have the Dragon Zord attached, and not their proper Zord or just the generic blaster), and their signature weapon colored in the color most predominate on the weapon. The weapons can further combine to make the Sky Buster, Land-Sea Buster, and the Gosei Buster. Finally each figure comes with one Power Card as well. Considering we get colored weapons, as well as cards, the slight downsize is "slightly" justifiable I suppose. Overall, these are pretty nice little figures. While they certainly won't beat S.H.Figuarts or even Bandai's old 5" scale lines, they're pretty nice, and make a great affordable display of Goseigers/Megaforce Power Rangers. Can't wait to get my hands on the remaining three figures from the first wave: Robo Knight, Loogie, and Vrak.
