What shocked me when I got this deck was that when I did my interview, I remembered the time I had a black and white dream with still images. Maybe the light value being gray rather than white is what did it. My only other black and white deck bought later is the tarot of the abyss and they feel drastically different from each other not just because of the macabre imagery but how the shading is done creating very different impressions. This one is very atmospheric.

They are completely different indeed except for the colour palette. I love both of them but this is a firm favourite and I think the art is unique. Thank you for watching 🦋

This deck scares me, but I’m drawn by it. As a tarot reader I work with light so this is in stark contrast. I want to purchase it but scared of what it might bring to the table! lol

Loved hearing your thoughts about this deck, it's a favourite of mine. Unfortunately my cards have alot of peeling/chipping on the edges but I still love it for the very different take on the cards that really make me see them from a different perspective. The moon card gets me too, it's jarring & does not 'fit' image-wise to me. I like monochromatic decks and love a dark and moody aeshetic.

I forgot to say, thanks for the look into the Murder of Crows Tarot and the Journey of Lonely Souls Oracle. I saw someone trash the oracle and I was pretty sad; I think the melancholy of it really appeals to me. I haven't gotten it yet but I just saw it's only twelve euro at the moment, heh. The Murder of Crows Tarot I keep going back and forth on.

Ah, you're in Europe too! Well, if its within your budget, I would definitely recommend Journey of a Lonely Soul. On any given day I can see the cons of something or the pros and so I try to balance it out when I give a review. But wholeheartedly, for a succinct Oracle deck, I think it is well worth it.

To me this is an Ingmar Bergman, black plague deck with very cool art. I have the limited edition with the red embellishments, which I think adds to that interpretation of it. Though I could use it all year long, it is the ultimate Halloween to me, a deck version of a ouija board! Wish it weren't shiny, but then crows do like shiny things. I love your artistic eye on this. I would have loved to have snapped up the Limited Edition if I had known but maybe there will be a re-release. I love its shininess but that is the magpie in me. I am doing much better, hands are improving! Thanks for dropping by

Oh here's a little fun fact: The Tarot of the Vampires was formerly called Tarot of the Immortal Night, which is a name I like a lot more (plus it's less confusing when talking about the deck with other people, haha). 😅Only reason I know that is because the artist for it had named his posts Tarot of the Immortal Night when he was showcasing the artwork on his social media. Of course the name has changed now but I do wish they'd kept the previous name.
