I own the superveloce 800. I bought it in 2022. I love it, the way it rides, sounds, looks. It is the best in its class for my criteria. It seems it will also look classy for many years. 80k for a motorcycle is a lot of money. I guess the 500 customers of the new oro bike don't care how much money they spend. With 80k I d rather buy the lxp orioli, the superveloce s and some custom extras.

It's really a rolling masterpiece sculpture❤but motorcycle is made to be ridden not display in a room. Reliability, maintenance,parts is going to be the issues.if money is not issue no problem for some. I'll call it also a Sunday ride no crashing motorcycle 🏍️❤

I would be more concerned about the reliability and getting parts in quickly to work on any maintenance and warranty work. I'm not willing to wait 1 or 2 months for parts !! Now, if the reliability is like that of a japanese bike, but with artistic creation, then that is a different story...Perhaps, at the end of the day, MV should be taken 'master lessons' from the Japanese...

The original Serie Oro weighed a bit more than the following production model, despite many magnesium parts. Doesn’t surprise me this is a bit heavy. However, it’s more a gentleman’s express, than a track weapon. Could see having a go on the Nurburgring, but probably not a track day.

Hell my $30,000 Kawasaki ZX-10-RR has special, Pankel internal parts. What is special inside this engine? I haven’t heard any talk of what’s inside? IDK, I just don’t trust MV in the Engine department. My local MV Dealership always has used engine parts in crates everywhere.

These euro biker manufacturer will be up for a reckoning very soon (similar to euro car manufacturers). Demanding a bloated price tag on a bike like that is scamming at its highest level. The Chinese are already up at the same level as the Italians in terms of design and performance at a fraction of the price. sub 10k. When these hit the Euro market, plant closures will follow.

MV Agusta have such a rich heritage to pull from that would resonate with both the mature and Gen Z market, but they stick to a one dimensional, ultra niche "Art" positioning. They could embrace a Modern Classic range that proves profitable for brands like Scrambler Ducati, Triumph & Husqvarna. Ditch the Adventure segment, as trust and functionality are core features MV doesn't offer the Adv buyer.
