Good thing he didn't play the Switch version🤣 Though, I do adore Kart Racers and this genuinely looks like a blast! So much better looking gameplay/ environments then Smurfs Karting or Gigantosaurus Dino Karting

I didn't see many options in the game, the UI tells you to use RB and LB for driving but thankfully the triggers work as well

Performance was poor on the series X, drops to 30's.. not sure about PS5 but predict the same. It's a GPU hungry game for what it is. I can only maintain around 104 FPS at 1440P (real) on a 3070. There are parts it hits the 120 FPS cap but I honestly ended up locking it at 60 so it would use much less GPU and therefore heat. This is on high settings. It's fun, music is bleh but gameplay good, they missed the mark again on soundtrack though which is important in a kart racer. Sega always nail that part. I will keep it rather than do a Steam return, but when I realised the console versions were on sale also, I thought it might be nice to get the PS5 one instead and play on the big screen, but 60 FPS gaming is a requirement for me, and if the series X can't maintain anywhere *near* 60, I doubt the PS5 can. Probably some poor coding there, as everyone wants a solid 60 FPS mode on current gen consoles.

NKR2 is actually much better in terms of gameplay,, track design, and roster.

@@LHSMeleeClub Overall driving and drifting has a much better feel, the unlock criteria for pretty much everything is clearer and less insane, the roster is better despite having fewer characters, and the track design suffers from the water and antigrav parts. NKR2 has better tracks because it sticks to traditional kart racing and gets a lot more creative. NKR3 would’ve been an amazing game had it just been NKR2 but more.

@@spiritpbr9659 idk id say the roster is pretty similar the only ones missing from 2 are Heffer, Tommy, Angelica & Shredder. the only character i genuinely miss is Shredder and it is weird to not have Tommy here either since he is kinda the main character of Rugrats. but overall id still say 3s roster is better, its just got more variety

Can't take it??? Nickelondeon Kart Racers 2, which is OLD runs at 60FPS on all old Xbox, but for the new generation the 3 is rubbish because the developers do a piggy job and want to charge dearly for it. You don't know what you're saying and you don't understand about it, so it's best not to talk 💩
