@@user-iq334 great point. Way too much. And all of these electric kettles with plastic…after a year of use the plastic gets brittle. Which tells you it’s been leaching into the water. Not good.

Tea freaks need these! It’s actually a lot better (taste-wise) to not scald your tea leaves. But I hear you, these are for yuppies with dual incomes, no kids and designer dogs with ‘modern architecture’ homes, you can only afford this if you have way too much money. I bet there will also be a Dyson on the premises
