I just bought the weatherby Orion sxs in twenty gauge and also own the weatherby Orion 12 gauge in an over and under but so far I just love the side by side

Bought an element 4 seasons ago from a DU auction for $600, cerakote and camo. Love it. Haven’t had an issue yet shooting bismuth or steel loads.

Nice review.....however.....the best autoloading shotgun was and still is the Browning Auto 5. Those who know, know. over 20 year guiding and never had an issue. Good luck this coming season and stay safe. Cheers from Ontario

Owned a Weatherby Element loved the ergonomics it swung very smooth was very excited but had over 30+ failures too eject over the course of 2 seasons including slugs and heavy loads has since been rotated out for the SX4 for slightly more money its the best choice in the 700-1000$ bracket.

I've run about 400 shells through my new Elements and haven't had any failure, running target load, which should be the most prone to cycling issues. The SX4 is a fine gun though, I see one for $769 at my local Bi-Mart that I want, cerakote and camo, crazy good deal.

@@underthetrees4780 Im glad you had a better experience with them than i did man mine wouldnt even cycle slugs! it was a gun i absolutely loved except for that issue, i highly recommend grabbing that deal if you can it replaced all my other shotguns cant give it enough praises.

I still have my old A5 that my grandpa gave me. I hung it in the wall to retire it at this point. I have been hunting with Weatherby Shotguns for the most part the last few years and they have been very solid 💪

Good ol Beretta just keeps selling those Benelli designs to anyone who wants them. 😂 Benelli's inertia system has been copied by so many companies now. Clearly it's the best design for a reliable semi auto.
