Thanks very much for that. Nice intro to some track design software I wasn't really aware of. Looks easier to use than 3rdPlanIT and XtrkCAD. I think I will download a copy and give it a try.

@HillsideModelRailway - Haha Sam yer think it`s related to the layout hand that appears to couple/re-rail stock lol. yer the cpoy/paste/flip really comes in handy once youve got like 15 or more pieces down.on station area paste/flip is great which i forgot to show how with full paid software how much quicker it is then doing 50 pieces again. Like all things looks hard at first just need to play 1st. cheers ken

@JRCModelRailways - your welcome and dont forget on 50 pieces used you jsy save that section and draw out your new section etc etc, print out each section stick them together bingo full layout. A good cheap way until one can buy full unlimited track version. Then you will laugh/scream at the hours spent designing tons of layouts lol, have fun with it, cheers Ken
