When you use the programmable pressure shut-off, make sure you toggle up the pressure you want and then wait for the display to show 00...then and only then should you then start-up the pump. If you don't wait for the 00 to display, it will continue to fill beyond what you thought you set it at. As for the inexact final pressure, this is common in every inflator/compressor. You're always going to lose some pressure when you disconnect the air-hose because there's a moment there that the tire valve is open and air is coming out. I always take the pressure up 2 or 3 pounds beyond what my target, final pressure is. Once you disconnect the air-hose, check the tire's pressure again with a separate tire-pressure gauge. You may still be slightly high, at which point you can use the back side of the tire-pressure gauge to depress the tire valve and let some air out to back yourself down into the target pressure.

It will auto shut off. Let it pump.

Mine is set to 39 psi. If I dont touch anything it just keeps pumping air. Ive seen it at 44psi and have to hurry over to turn it off then let some air out of my tire.

Either the craftsman or dewalt brands are my go to

I have one and it does the same crap. @ 2:36 you can see its at 37.5 then you hit the down arrow on the unit and that really didnt do anything. If you dont touch anything it will just keep pumping air into the tire. Edit: After messing with it for a while I was able to reset things and finally get it to work but its not exactly an intuitive device. Its cheap and bulky and the cable management is not great.. it does however work.

did I misinterpret something. I saw the power cord coming out of the same side as the inflator hose with the tire fitting. I assumed that was the AC power cord. Yet, the switch on the unit appeared to be pushed in at the lower DC side. What am I missing?

AC cord is on the same side as the tire fitting. DC power, which he is using, is on the opposite side.

The meter is off by 2 psi in most units. You want 35psi set it on 37. Always have a seperate air checker no matter what brand or unit you have.

while the pump is on the measurement will not be accurate. the pump is doing its own test to shut it down when its reach the set psi

Just got this and while airing up truck tire with the 4.0ah battery for about 10 minutes it gave error "E9" then shut off. Any idea what that means? Battery too warm? Book says nothing about codes and is useless.

2+ years and still running strong. Granted i don't use it everyday. Mainly for emergencies and to inflate air mattresses a couple times per year.
