interesting approach in defining democracy in a simple yet very deep way. Democracy thus involves constant opportunity to deal with new and ever changing issues that face a polity. Good. His broader point is that professors are incentivized to make ideas and words more complex than are necessary. An important lesson. During my undergrad entire paragraphs of my assigned reading could often be distilled into one or two clear and concise sentences. If that's low-brow, then I'm an orangutan, and I'm in good company.
