0:07 I didn’t get your impression of the new strap nor did you tell us how long you had the original strap and that impression. What size is your wrist? I just bought one of the same model like your original. Time will tell.

I gave away the black strap, not because I didn’t like it. I sold Watch that it looked really good on, and I sent the strap along with it. I still have the brown one more than a year later and it still fits really well and very comfortably. I have a six and three-quarter inch wrist for reference. I think you will rather enjoy the strap you ordered. The one thing of note is that it is a somewhat thin leather, so I feel that it sits more comfortably with less chunky watches.

@@OldLineWatches I thought the strap was 3.5mm thick especially at the buckle end where Horween is stamped. I bought it for a reference so I could see and compare it to a pass through strap I’m making that is 1.6mm - 1.8mm thick using Horween chromexcel I’ll send a picture if I can figure that out. Thanks again for your response.

Would love to see a video on poly watch crazy how much a strap can make a watch feel like a completely different watch thanks for sharing 😊👍😎

For about six months, I was cruising all of the watch sale groups on Facebook and Reddit looking for people that were downsizing their strap collections. When people were doing their purges the prices would get down to five to $10 per strap. It was a inexpensive way to build up a good collection of straps so that whenever I got bored with a watch I could just change it up!

Jim g 😀😀 I wear mine on my khaki king and it makes it pop. Since it's so thin it gets wear where the strap passes through the keepers but I like that used vintage look... i knew it would look great on that blue Pagani, Great combo! Use your finger and rub out the scratches on the strap, it redistributes the oils and hides the scratches pretty well. Yes on the polywatch too... some don't realize how well it works. I'm wearing a super cheap aliexpress flourine tropic strap on my glycine bronze diver. The flourine version is very comfortable and flexible, would be a nice addition to your skin diver watch.

Which Ali store did you get your fluorine strap from?

Thank you bro! And I think these are pretty decent straps for the price point; I don’t know about longevity yet but they certainly feel well-made

A polywatch video could include some philosophical musings about the simple joys of acrylic, or perhaps crystal types in general. Might make it more interesting than just watching some polishing.

Outstanding idea. I could definitely talk a fair bit about the unfairly maligned acrylic.
