Review of our new pet/dog trailer/carrier used on a rocky, dirt road. The maiden voyage!

This is a nifty pet trailer that we've bought. They're currently $79.00 with free shipping on Ebay, but selling fast! Normally they cost around $150.00. They have no brand name on them!
I apologize for the driveway alert buzzer going off during this whole video. We're so used to hearing it, I didn't realize how annoying it can be to someone who's not used to it.

We're just everyday folks here... :) We were raised in Southern California and through a course of events were just sick of them spraying us at night from helicopters with the Med fly concoction of Malathion and honey. The rat race and the smog....ugh! We made the break to the middle of the country in 1989 and enjoy everyday living out here in the country to its fullest! We are very blessed to have been able to live our dream.

I bought a Schwinn Rascal Pet Trailer, it's a bit smaller, sits lower, little 16" tires. Fine for a medium size dog up to about 30 pounds, or two smaller dogs. It does not have the screen in the back.

This is a great trailer, lots of room, enough for 4/5 little dogs, or even two medium sized dogs.

Haven't used it enough to see the wear yet....we're very 'seasonal' here! ;) If you know what I mean. (aka lazy in the freezing winter and just stay in. :) )

Hey Bernie! Well, I'm so sorry to tell you that right after I shot this video, we had to put the dude UP and it hasn't been used since then. I'm sorry....but, looking at it, it seems like it would stand up to ANYTHING since it made it for a few trips down our rock road.

What is the floor like on this? Is it solid or just mesh? It looks big enough for my 70# dog, but I'm worried about the floor being sturdy enough

Well, it is a very, very thin piece of plywood covered by a piece of cotton material very thin. 70lb? Well I wish you could try it out first. Maybe they did a very heavy dog test and it will be fine for you. I can't tell, I'm sorry.

I had to phone the company and they refunded me the money to pay for someone to cut that pipe off and move the hole down because it was too large for the trailer.
