Makes no sense for the company to keep both X3 and X3 Benchrest in their product line up. The difference is not that substantial. I'd say the X3 will be retired. The stock / ergonomics should have been changed to include adjustable elements typically seen in bench rest guns. I like what they're thinking but not very impressed with execution. I guess it finally boils down to the target price, but I'd still say that for a specialized gun, it would have worked even if the product was pitched 10-15K above current price. In that case the X3 Classic and the X3 BR would satisfy different use-cases.
