About the translation of the story Kieu in Czechoslovakia (Czech) in 1926
Translator Antonin Horský, Born on December 7, 1902 in Prague, Czech Republic. He is a journalist and translator in many languages. He has translated works in French such as those of Andre Gide (1869-1951) or German Heinrich Mann (1871-1950). French Henry Poulaille (1896-1980) or English author Joseph Smith Fletcher (1863-1935).
The translation of the story Kieu into Czech is titled Ngujen-Dy: Kim, Ven, Kieu - Annam's love novel. A prose translation, 104 pages based on the French translation by L. Masse (1915). The original copy of this Czech-language book is currently kept at the National Library of Prague in Klementinum.
