One successful attack can't make slashing strike. But if you already using slashing strike, That time if anyone attack you, then you will lose just ''01 counter attack"... again if you hit just 01 time... you will get the slashing strike again.... this is called Samurai Focus...

Kyuki "successful attacks by opponent lower slashing strike by 1". Jitne successful attacks karega opponent utni baar slashing strike 1 se kam hojayega. Uss time fireguard ke 2 attacks connect hue ling ko, 2 slashing strike 1 se nahi, 2 se kam hogaya. Aur fir vapas slashing strike laane ke liye ling ko 2 attacks karne padhe. Agar 1 se kam hua hota toh 1 hi attack chahiye tha slashing strike laane ke liye.
