Once upon a time this vehicle was pumpable, however, it was also replaced long ago, made premium, and those lucky ones who managed to pump out the T34 World of Tanks received the now new premium tank in their hangar for free. But many who didn’t have time to do this or came to the game later bought the American beast, ride it regularly and have a lot of fun, and now we’ll find out why.
The tank has a twin brother - T34 B. At its core, the American premium TT Tier 8 T34 B differs from the regular T34, only in style, it is all black. The tank is timed to coincide with the annual event at the end of autumn called “Black Friday”.
So, now we will look at the American T34 characteristics, which, by the way, have several very attractive and frankly strong points. As you can see in the screenshot above, this vehicle has very interesting armor. The fact is that the hull is poorly armored, and most of the enemies of the 8th, 9th and 10th levels, to which they throw us, penetrate us.
But the T34 turret World of Tanks is a work of art. She has very serious armor on her forehead and getting through here is extremely problematic, and for some, even impossible. Of course, it’s not worth exposing the side parts of the tower and especially the rear, but if you play correctly, taking the “Steel Wall” medal is as easy as shelling pears.
In addition, the American heavy tank T34 World of Tanks in update 0.9.17 received an increase in visibility from 360 meters to today's 380. Now, if desired, it can be easily brought to top values with perks and equipment. In terms of the amount of HP, we have a standard margin of safety for a level 8 heavyweight.
The mobility and maneuverability of the T34 World of Tanks is low; we are reluctant to reach the maximum speed of 34 km/h due to the enormous weight; we also rotate the hull and turret slowly.
Now let's talk about weapons, because there really is something to be said here. The T34 has a wonderful gun; it has a very high penetration rate for a premium tank, which allows us to easily penetrate both classmates and vehicles of a higher level. Here we will have to use gold shells in isolated cases when a heavily armored heavy weapon or anti-tank weapon hits our sights.
The average one-time damage of T34 World of Tanks of 400 units is also beyond praise. But there are also some drawbacks here: our rate of fire is low, and the gun takes a long time to bring down, but with stabilization everything is fine, especially thanks to the right equipment and perks.
I would like to talk about a few more positive changes that the T34 WoT tank received in patch 0.9.17, they will relate to weapons. Our gun has become more comfortable, now its aiming time is 3.2 seconds (previously this figure was 3.4 seconds). In addition, the dispersion from turning and movement of the chassis, as well as from the rotation of the turret, has improved, that is, stabilization has changed for the better. Thus, in 0.9.17 T34 the tank became an even more dangerous enemy.
Yes, by the way, our gun is tilted down by as much as 10 degrees, a typical American feature, which, combined with a heavily armored turret, gives us a huge tactical advantage.
