The ABSOLUTE BEST inflatables availed. WE’ve had them for 15 years and buying two of these very soon for our new 35 foot boat. Instead of a dingy we use kayaks. These are amazing and won’t bang up the boat when we take them on and off.

Neat looking kayak. I'm looking at just the Advanced frame Solo kayak (red colour) as it's versatile for rivers and open water, however very tempting to upgrade one kayak to this as I will use it alot more than my partner. Phenomenal

They are both great - the red AdvancedFrame is lighter and cheaper, the blue Expedition Elite tracks straighter, goes a little faster and has the extra features - drop-stitch floor, adjustable foot brace, rear hatch and lumbar seat. So it's really a case of weighing the pros and cons as they apply to you. Cheers, Emily.

Hello. Can a disassembled bicycle be attached to the front of the kayak, and the wheels to the rear? Has anyone tried this?

How much capacity of storage in terms of litres can one store in them?

Hi Pete, you can basically load up the decks with as much as you can hold, there isn't really a limit, as long as you keep the total weight below 204kg (including yourself). Inside, there is storage behind the seat but it is not huge - maybe 30L? You can also stash items around your legs, if you find that to be comfortable. Cheers, Emily.

@jesus christ Yes, you can, it is classed for Open Water. Note that it is not suitable for surfing waves, though.

is the blue material waterproof though? I get moisture inside, in the area of the four small chambers that keep the deck tight, back and front and those are the areas that take a lot of dripping from my paddle.

Hey there @ioandragulescu6063! Thank you for your comment. Is the deck sagging at all? Do you think it may be pooling on the zipper? The rip-stop fabric is coated with PVC lining underneath to stop the water seeping through and the material is treated with a water repellent from the factory. If your kayak is quite old and gets allot of use, the water repellent may need to be reapplied but you shouldn't need to do this any more than maybe every 3 years. It's certainly abnormal to be seeing water around those deck rising chambers, I would do some tests with a garden hose and see if the water repellent may be the fix. @@OzinflatablekayaksAu hmm, that's a bit disconcerting because it's a brand new boat I just bought, production year is 2022. And no, the deck wasn't sagging and I didn't got any pooling at all. The water repellent seems to be working because I saw the water beading on the fabric. I'll do the hose test and see what I get.

@@OzinflatablekayaksAu I though about it some more and I think it might be condensation actually. That day was sunny and warm, about 25 deg C but the water was cold and I was going on and off under tree canopies (more like tree tunnels actually) and there it was rather cold. And on top of that, splashing the blue ripstop material with cold water from the paddle in those areas of the boat might have caused the warm air trapped under to create said condensation.

thank"s for review. I noticed both of you had legs outside, on the top of the kayak. Is it more comfortable, safe to sit inside the kayak? would positioning yourself inside kayak give you better paddling results?

Hi Kris, yes, legs go inside the kayak, having them up on deck is just to dry them out before bringing them into the kayak. Cheers, Emily.

Yes! Check out these guys, Chasing Scale, who use it for making fishing videos and have taken it in open waters for fishing (check out their Western Australia videos): kzbin.info/www/bejne/enKrpnmBeLKGa5o but be aware that it doesn't have rod holders (although it DOES have paddle holders).
