You don't seem to know much about travel bags to be doing a review. Strap on the inside is to reduce the clothes from shifting so then they don't wrinkle as much. The horizontal strap on the outside is so that it can sit on top of a roller bag. You might want to take some time and do some research if you are trying to grow this channel

my exact thoughts! I would think at the very least you would know what the compression strap on the inside is for... they are in most every piece of luggage. And did we miss the expansion zipper?
