I just got the Pink (Red they call it at VC) Gold version .. and I paid MSRP from the boutique after a 2 year wait.... but alas, the gray market price is closer to 90K now, even with the 30% hit from it's gray market price peak.

The top of the holy Trinity in my mind.. 260+ years of excellence, and that Geneva seal! btw the reason the watch doesn't hack is purposeful.. Patek also doesn't generally.. it's not good for the balance wheel to have that feature... high horology movements often don't have a seconds hack.

VC is the top of High Horology IMO. the 4500V is a true stunner and if I had to say "grail" it would be on the short list.

I chose the blue dial dual time over the three hander. This is my first watch with a date subdial. The Overseas line is special. Regardless of dial color, can’t go wrong with any watch in this line up.

Quite understated. Non watch people would not pick it out on someone's wrist as an extremely high end watch. The no hack is odd, but I'm sure not a deal breaker if you are someone that could buy this piece.

This is my grail watch :) love to see it! Great review! How long was the waitlist for it? I'm considering buying it, but i recently had a luxury watch purchase so i'd like to give it a year or two before my next purchase. Do you think i should inquire about it now because the waitlist is a multi year one, or is it a shorter waitlist?

Beautiful Watch, unfortunately now the steel and rose gold versions are nowhere to be found (10 years of waiting) with (Quadrante Blu Boutique), personally I prefer it to PP - AP.

I have a 2019 Submariner and yes it glows for about two seconds so what’s your point? What luxury brand or tool watch last long?
