I hope this bike comes to be! Their indiegogo is still at 0 funding and 0 backers after 5 days of being live. I'm saving for the mk1r etc

@@DonDkTaro unfortunately it seems Vexcite is doing a poor job at social marketing for this. I'm in multiple ebike and emoto groups on multiple social platforms and 16 days after their indiegogo launch I'm just see this 3rd party video which is the first thing i'm seeing about this project. Thats a red flag for very poor social engagement. as far as indiegogo goes... 16days in and only 2 backers.... their IG is only posting maybe twice a week and not even a youtube page for demo vids. If the market doesn't even know you have a product it doesn't matter how good or bad it is.

we can ignore, for now, that their battery size and performance estimates don't mathematically make sense but every company exaggerates things like range so grain of salt there..

@eBikeaholic 20 degrees rake. It was totally fine.
@eBikeaholicАй бұрын
@@IRISHTRETTO Ok cool. One of my older prototype frames also had a 20 deg rake (70 deg HT angle) and I changed it to 24 deg (66 deg HT angle) on the next one, it gives a significant improvement. If Vexcite already locked in their frame design they should at least consider increasing the fork length a bit. The front tire clearance looks tight hopefully the forks are at least 100mm travel.
@IRISHTRETTOАй бұрын
@eBikeaholic oh shoot them a message with this feedback!
@jb5music2 ай бұрын
The tires are too big... the forks could be thicker with more rake and trail... it looks like the front is unnaturally lowered and not quite level. I'd rather personally have old fashioned turn signals that stick out just so the police see them. This is definitely to be considered though.

Hope they switch to motorcycle style brakes (rear on the left) before the full rollout
@cerebrix3 ай бұрын
There is no state that will register those rear turn signals. They aren't DOT standard pod/wing thingies. I know everyone hates them and I do too. But there's a reason you can't buy a single motorcycle without them in the United States. Because it's a zero compromise situation. You either add them or you're not legal.

Super73 selling e-bikes for $3700 that only go 28 miles an hour, and they’re selling like crazy. You might think it’s BS, but it’s the way it is. Big plus with Vexcite is they are built in the U.S. unlike many competitors.

That's an onyx RCR with better parts... Display, motor and crank/sprocket are basically the same. The positive is the better forks, frame, tires and battery design looks more modern. Hopefully the Battery capacity is better than the ONYX RCR and CTY motorbikes

@@BboyMobster I have yet to test ride a javelin, so it’s hard to comment on this. Ultimately it’s your choice, the javelin costs $800-$1000 more than the MK1, but you gain some speed for that money. The MK1R will dust the Javelin, but will cost you more. Whatever choice you make, they’re both American made bikes, which is awesome!

Promising. If going over 30mph, they should go with a higher grade of braking. The 3D printing is obvious, but okay for an unfinished product. At 66 mph I’d recommend getting it insured & registered. Nice entries; I’d be interested in the lower spec.
