Whats even more amazing is Tissot's decision to use a thermocompensated movements for the 36 and 40mm quartz models. It's accurate to 10 sec per year. Unheard of at this price point!

Thankful for the current trend towards smaller sizes, because of my small wrist. I think it's one of the best, if not the best options for the price, regardless of brand or movement. I believe this has the PreciDrive movement which is even more accurate than standard quartz. Definitely on my wishlist.

I think that this Seastar is the best under $700. I prefer Quartz movement for watch under $800. 40mm, ceramic bezel, and thickness under 12mm with a nice engraving on case back are very satisfying.

@Sasiwatch up until very recently, I've been getting mechanical watches well below $800 (Seikos). But like you said, I am beginning to realize that quartz is the way to go for watches below $800.

Hi how has the accuracy been? I bought mine 2 weeks ago and it's 4 secs fast

You mean 4 secs per day? I guess yours has a qc issue. That should be +/- 10 sec per year.
