A real review!!! So sick of people who’ve never used any of the products just rehashing the manufacturers advertising literature in their KZbin videos. Thank you

Hey, great review. I've had several Camelbaks over the years and was getting so tired of my last one that I "lost" it when we moved. Just got my REI 20% coupon today, so I'm getting the Osprey Raptor 14.

Not sure if you found it yet but the clear plastic section just before the mouthpiece is a twist lock system. The first time you twist it is pretty tough but it gets much easier after that.

Got the lobo for shorter trail rides, might need to pick this Osprey up for longer full day rides.

Another great video bud. And a brilliant idea to compare the bags. Ive been using a raptor myself now for about 6 weeks, and i love it. My 1 draw back with it was the hose is designed to come over the right shoulder only and i prefer it over my left. Not a massive issue and im getting used to it now. I also swoped out the 3ltr bladder for a 2ltr to save weight + space as ive never drank 3ltrs ever. 1 tip i offer. I like to 1/4 fill my bladder, seal it then blow it up via the hose, stick it in the freezer overnight laid flat, making sure the entrance to the hose isnt covered, Cold water all day also a nice way to keep your back cool on those super hot climbs 🤙🤙👍

m0nkeywrench MTB. Yes blow through the hose clears that and inflates the bag, when laid flat the hose entrance is elevated, dont overfill at the start around 1/4 is about right👍

I don't understand, "making sure the entrance to the hose isn't covered" - What? How?

I'm so glad I saw this awesome review from someone who has actually used both items! I was set between a Camelbak mule or lobo and leaning more towards the lobo because I don't like to carry to much stuff for rides. A friend of mine has the Osprey and loves it. Seeing this review has definitely changed my mind away from Camelbak and leaning towards Osprey. How is it holding up since this review was 4 years ago? Thanks!

The bag is still holding up great! I use it more for hikes now as I don't like to carry a bag on the bike anymore and I've managed to pack all I need in a hip pack. I would highly recommend the osprey range for any outdoor activity. Enjoy.

Thank you for this video. Very helpful! Thank you! It is to the point and shows the angles we all want to see - to have perspective of the bag. Exceptional video!

Is there anyway to mount the helmet on the camelback??

Not to my knowledge on that model pack, the Lobo. Tho that might have changed since making this video 3 years ago.

Inserting the bladder into the lobo is a pain in the but, almost impossible when full

I have the raptor 18 version from 9 years ago I can see with that on you have they changed the design I'm glad I have the older but larger version. The bladder is 3 litres but has rigid a frame so you lift the whole thing out and had a screw top on it, nagelene I think its called. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHjLapSciKuCjrc this is what I have
