If you have problem keeping the clamp(flame spreader) in place, one solution is to buy the silencer. It makes the kitchen way much quieter and works excellent with the standard gas cannister as well as white gas or petrol but shouldn´t be used with diesel.

How many minutes of continuos operation is that 350ml tank?

lots of things.. never fill up the fuel bottle, only to the line indicated. And should be more efficient on white gas/heptan than on butan gas. There is different nossles for each type fuel. You need +40 sec of preheating you are way to impatient, and why the nozzle get clocked.

I think you have to much fuel in your tank. I have a similar stove and when I flip the tank the flames dies in 30 sec, maybe a little more. The fuel pipe in the tank is a little bend touching the wall of the fuel tank. When cooking it is pointing downwards. When you flip the tank it is pointing upwards. And should then be above the fuel level. But if you filled your tank more then 3/4 the stove simply won't stop (after half an hour maybe).

So I have a silly question: the wind and ground shield that come with the stove just look so much like metal fatigue failure waiting to happen. How does one use these, and keep them from failing ?

The ground shield is flimsy and will split from constantly folding it, I'm on my second one. The wind shield I bought separately from the supplied one, it's coated and is doing fine apart from some minor dents.

Have you tried burning canister gas inverted? If so does it work smoothly?
@alistairgranda81693 жыл бұрын
Yes I have tried it and it does work smoothly until it gets really low on gas.
