Leela is the main one in her confessionals screaming about " these girls & their bull swanky / these girls need to put things aside et cetera"! Yet, she is the MAIN one trying to get physical! Worst of all this idea originated from the issue with her friend whom is fighting a deadly disease... But not only was she a big part of the "swanky" she sat there & allowed the "swanky" to cloud a moment to help & honor her friend! She definitely block me last week when I stated I was a Hospice Practitioner & normally loved ones don't have time for pettiness.... I just lost all respect for Leela, she was in my top 5, I would support her every year at Essence,I was there during her live in New Orleans album, the Michael Baisden days, I was a true fan of this woman & celebrated her talent, now I deleted all her music, it will never sound the same.... I'm not about violence but if she would have put her finger in my face it would have taken Jesus & threats .... Let me take this down a notch. Lil Mo,in the words of Prince "your clothes do not match" Michel'le you need true friends not bad lace front,pastel lipstick,rainbow shopping, females whom will turn on you at the worst time,Brave I understand your neutrality being this is your first season ...... I spoke about this on the last post. She blocked me as well when I told her the behavior that she presented to Chante Moore was not acceptable. I also made note that I would not be supporting her Cancer Awareness project as well. She was the one who preached about unity for a cause, but yet kicked Chante to the curb on the project. I hope she is reading this as she has lost a longtime fan who supported her since day one. Her music has been removed from my collection and I will no longer be supporting any of her future projects.

Brilliant review Ashley! Normally I isten to music or read blogs postings or editorials sharing limited feedback. You are on point and I commend you for doing an excellent job in your analysis of "R&B LA Diva's of LA". One problem the cast is experiencing with the recording (in my opinion) from a business prospect could be loyalties of the song for the Cancer Awareness Project. Whatever contract they have for the song (Cancer Awareness) might not be included in the original contract of the Show. It appears that the majority of problems are with real life issues that are not disclosed on this reality show. That might lower the ratings and their competitors will fill their slot for viewing by the audience looking for more realistic , true uncensored true life expreiences. Also without really stating this as a fact, a probable lawsuits for deprivation of character and/or verbal assault/threat to do bodily harm might be something the producers, investors and cast members , to name a few, are trying to avoid, defuse or even resolve with limited to no financial or personal damage. Normal conversations in real life by common hood individuals is raw and unlimited with suggestive measures of whoop ass. Verbal insults often mean no harm, when venting by spitting words via gangster slang as dialogue during heated discussions of likes or dislikes with friends. TV and video recording for public view is very different. Everyone don't understand, accept or even know what it means to make statements like "Say it again and I'll Jap Slap Yo Ass": or: Often times this "I'll knock fire from yo ass if you don't bring it down". When in Real talk from the soul it occasionally just means "stop being phoney cause you are gettin on my nerves 4real so STOP IT"....Frequently statements of such are misunderstood by those not acquainted with that type of life, or, language. Many times people forget where they come. And believe it or not many honestly don't' come from that particular environment, they just send messages in songs, plays movies or TV to appease that specific audience because they will get $$$ paid real CASH by contract. Businesses in the entertainment industry often become obsolete when the audience is not satisfied. Hint...lol....on the season 2 finale Chante ' had a body guard and most common folks know why. True soldiers of or from the HOOD look at it as a low blow in integrity. True Soul Sisters getting drunk or speaking their mind with no harm intended by hissing via dialogue are often considered "by outcast of the element" as sufferers of Attention Deficient Disorder ,ADD.... lol....Keep up the good work.... I feel like they're trying to get rid of the original divas of LA one by one. I feel like Stacy Francis is a troublemaker.She has no talent and I can not stand to hear her talk. She had no right to talk any crap about any of the women that were here before she came.Brave was a good addition that they added to the season. Unlike Stacy, Brave actually has talent. I used to be a fan of Lil Mo(thot) until I saw the way that she really acts. She is not a true friend to Michel'le. She talks s*** about Michelle and she's more concerned about her marriage that will probably end in divorce as well. Whoever her hair stylist and wardrobe person is they should be fired and shot. I like Leela James but this season I really didn't like her attitude. Chrisette was the smartest one to leave at the beginning of the season before all the real drama unfolded. And if she does not return for another season I do not blame her. And if there is a new season, I will not be watching because Stacy Francis has killed this show for me completely.

The only shady thing that I can see Chante doing wrong is wanting a cut with the charity. Tv One may as well cancel this franchise too. These women are more interested in being mean girls than revamping their careers. I would like to see a show featuring younger artists. They could keep Brave, add Sevyn Streeter, Elle Varner, Stacy Barthe and maybe Jazmine Sullivan. These older artists can't get along for shit.

I agree with you 100% Ashley! Stacy used this platform for all the wrong reasons, to create unnecessary drama and tryna fit in with the rest of the women. Brave on the other hand is actually tryna make a name for herself by going to the studio to work on her material. Stacy shoulda been looking for a vocal coach so she could have some singing lessons! She also looks like a cross between Tamar Braxton and Wendy Williams.

R&B Divas is becoming like RHOA and LHH, this should be a show about their lives and careers and getting exposure back to their projects, not the messiness of the drama. We got VH1 and Bravo for that, I know that it will be drama but not to the point of hating them.

As always I agree with you about your review but let me just say this - who is Stacy Francis to say that someone's time on a show is over? She just got there. SMH this show brought out a lot of ugliness in some of my favorite singers and that's dissapppinting. Honestly, Mo seems hard and mean this season. I think it's because her life seems to be in shambles. Who am I to say so? But look at how she does things. All the marriages and kids, random love isn't always true love. All of those spirits she can discern should have spoke to her about adding another ring to her list of nuptials. Chante Moore seems reserved AS SHE SHOULD BE - I can't blame her. Regardless of what the cameras showed and didn't show, how she handled herself, and how they handled themselves says a lot about where they all are. That Stacy Francis has an ugly demeanor and personality. The fact that Michel'le had an anxiety attack, should have been treated as such. When Mo was trying to diagnose Michel'le someone should have been doing the same with her. I'm wondering where her compulsion and fear of being single comes from. This show was such a let down. Singers are people too, but my goodness, how messy can you be when trying to be a role model and example. JUST UGLY!

Oooh this episode pissed me off! Chante Moore's rusty whistle note could beat all them broads in the race for the top on they best day. I can not stand this show anymore. Lil Mo look like Annabelle. Her lacefronts are tragic, her makeup is a pickle, and her hair looks like it suffered all its life going through the great depression. Just like Cynthia told NeNe, choose a better wig and a more flattering makeup direction. And Lela soon to be Unsung ass ... just .... ugh! I think it's time for Chante to get off the show. She's too classy for this drama. No reason all these women should be acting this petty towards one person. They keep talking about behind the scenes drama, but if that's the case, TVOne should've shown it and if it's drama, I'm sure they would've aired it. I sort of wish Brave and Claudette were on the same season together... they both just seem like a sweet dynamic added to the show... but let's not forget how Chrisette took a leave of absence soon as Spacey showed up. IJS Chrisette ain't stupid... she saw exactly how it was going down in the off-screen mtg they had and production told the ladies who would be added to the cast... If there is some things going on behind the scenes just show them because they've been saying this for the past 2 seasons about Chante but we never see anything. It's so funny how Lil Mo was so cool with Chante and Michele during the first season and second and now she's this whole new person. And they complained about Kelly Price. I was cthu at you Chante you're better than me cuz Leela you put your hands in my face "crack, crack"! The shows a mess the only people who has something going on musically is Leela, Brave, and Chrisette. I'm sorry, I'm so sick of the "ya'll don't see what's going on behind the scenes" excuse that they love to give on this show. There is not enough going on behind the scenes that can justify Leelah getting in Chante's face like that NOR putting her finger in her face on this episode. Leelah has always been borderline stank but she kept it cool, especially when Chrisette was around. I peeped that flow about her. I find it hard to believe that Leelah would be acting like this if Chrisette were still on the show. I just don't see it. Then how her an Mo have let Stacey Fishface Francis handle them and make them look like follwers. I can look as deep as the pool goes but her actions have been really questionable. Lil Mo is a raggedy ass hater and I'm done with her, especially since she was supposed to leave it all at the door with Chante when they first started the season. I just can't with these "ladies". The only ones I'm here for are Brave and Miche'le. Stacey, Mo and Leelah...blah.

W/O Stacy, Lil' Mo would've been the biggest drama queen. Stacy has to learn to shut up talking to ppl who don't rock with her like that (Michel'le & Chante). These 2 ladies are NOT open to anything Stacy has to say. I don't understand WHY the other ladies are even mad that Chanté doesn't want to show up or 1/2 way shows up??? Oh and is it me or did Stacy Frankenstein sound a hot ass mess. Her fashions were terrible. Now Chantė looked and sounded amazing. There are no words to explain just how much this season has pissed me off! And everybody thought kelly was bad. I wish they would've left stacy where the hell she was. She can't sing, she's a trouble maker, and that ugly ass wig is getting on my nerves. Lil mo is sooo two faced. I thought her and michel' le was supposed to be friends, but yet instill she is constantly talking junk about her. She even had the nerve to say that she wasn't gonna run after michelle when she had ran out. And did you all see the way leela had pointed her finger all up in chante's face. Great review Ashley! I really hope this is the last of this show. Stacey Francis ruined it for everyone. I am so glad that Brave at least got the hook up with Warryn , Miche’le getting to do a song Crystal Waters and Chrisette moving on with her music company and Chante with her book and one woman show. Lil Mo ain’t got a damn thing going and she, Leela and Stacey probably need the check the most. This show is a travesty and I hope this is the end for good!
