Who put the dent in the side of the right hand door? Also my doors on a LF30S8210S were not only misaligned but the door on the left was skewed so the gap at the top was bigger at the top, than the bottom. LG technician came to my home and fixed everything! Went over everything with a fine tooth comb. At no charge came out twice to replace door seal gaskets and hinge. All at no cost. What company does that these days? LG is creditable in my book.

Thanks! Just purchased this same fridge but with handles and love it so far! Question: how long did it take for you to have ice? We were told up to 48 hours but thought that sounded like a long time. Starting to see a few cubes in freezer bucket. Nothing in door dispenser and no cold water yet.

It did not take long. You should run a gallon+ of water through the water filter before you use it. Also, throw out the first 24 hours of ice.

We've just purchased this fridge but it won't be here until February. Nice to see how it looks all set up. The bins are a great idea, do you know what kind of height will fit in there? Also do you know if magnets stick to any part of it? Our old LG is magnetized above the water dispenser. Just trying to figure out if a magnetic calendar would work on it.

I believe there is about 4.5 inches in the convert drawer, maybe 5. We purchased bins from target. I'll try to add a link in the description of I can figure it out. The front and sides are magnetic, we hang a morning checklist for our kids on the front and a few pictures on one side.

Great video. We just got the same fridge and our convertible drawer doesn't glide in and out very smoothly, you have to give it a bit of a push, especially if you pull it all the way out. Does yours do the same thing? Thanks!

We just got this fridge and the convert drawer on it is very hard to open and close. But in the store it opened real easy. Seems to be as soon as the fridge gets cold it gets very hard to open and lg is zero help.

What is the width dimension of your space. We have a very similar setup with the wall on the left side and have about 40 inches of clearance. Do you have issues with the left door not opening all the way? Thanks for the video.

We had 37 enclosed clearance and fits like a glove. You should be fine.

I had to adjust my doors to be level & now my "Chill drawer" doesn't seem to want to slide freely.... It's tight to close now.... Any suggestions??

Do you see where it is hitting or sticking? Is it just that it needs some grease? Is the whole fridge level. That door isn't close to touching anything else on mine. Not sure how or why it would not slide well.

@@HuskerNKC It's not hitting anywhere... It is level.... It sticks/gets tight about 1/2 way down the track. What would I put grease on? It's all plastic. The rollers on the track and the track itself are plastic. I even took the drawer completely out & I don't see anything putting it in a bind. Ughhhh

@@JstcountryGirl that is very odd. I have no issues and when looking at the gear rack and pinon gear on both sides I don't see why it would bind part way back. Looking down both tracks of mine I would only expect issues if something was in the way. I was thinking you could grease the gear part in the track. My other thought is maybe it is part of the mechanism that helps it close is binding or set incorrectly. On a brand new fridge I would definitely reach out to LG.

I reached out to the dealer with ours because of the drawer and the doors not lining up they contacted the rep they replaced the fridge and still the same issues .poor design not sure what to do with it.

There is a wrench that came with it and a nut to move up and down at the bottom of the door. Mine never got perfect heightwise, but are very close.

Yes i have adjusted that nut to raise the door but the adjustment on this one i cant get it to go anywhere near as high as your showed in your video.

Just got mine installed today, did you notice your convert drawer is very hard to open and close compared to the freezer? My old fridge has some kind of lubricant that seems to help and I'm considering adding some to the metal sliding rail

Not at all, mine works great and doesn't stick at all. It's not hard to pull either. I would try a refrigerator slide lubricant like you said, but also double check it is not binding anywhere or anything.

There is not an option for it on the app or door panel. As far as I can tell the only way to shut it off is to completely disable it. You have to remove the screws and pop the top plastic cover off. The buzzer is under there and there are videos online showing how to disable it.

Only got like 10 cubes of ice since it was plugged I. Over 10 hours ago. I was also wondering if you need to do anything to turn on the ice in the bottom freezer.

Look on the app and there are ice controls, including turbo ice. If you don't have the app set up there are controls in the fridge on the right side for the ice.

Without tilting. No, I don't think there is a door water dispenser large enough to not have to tilt for something as tall as the Stanley. We tilt with no issues and get everything completely full. There is a nice light so you can see what you are doing.

We did, but they were ridiculously priced in my opinion. That is why we did the plastic tubs at the end of the video. We also did the silicon drink mats. We have since gotten a second set of those so the two far left sections are can drinks, the three tubs are snacks, in front of the tubs we have bottle drinks like tea, and behind the tubs we store some alcohol.

On one door it works perfectly, on my ice door it is up so high it doesn't always work well. It sometimes slips, but now the doors have kinda settled I'm going to lower it down and hopefully it will work consistently

Here are several measurements for you... Front fridge width 35-3/4" Both doors swing distance is 2" My fridge opening at the upper cabinets is 37-9/16"... this caused an issue with the door not being able to open enough to be functional. My lower cabinets provided a bigger opening so I have my fridge at a slight angle. It is pressed against the upper cabinet, but angled so the back left side is closer to the wall and the front right side is actually at 38-1/4" from the wall (gaining me just under 3/4") and creating a different angle for the door to open. This makes it so my door doesn't hit the wall and so I can open it more than enough to be functional. Hope that makes sense. Ideally I would have an opening closer to 38-1/2 or 39 if it is pressed to a wall like mine, but on a slight angle I made it work.

Not very long. Much faster than my old one. It has a turbo ice mode to make it faster and with 2 ice makers we were fully stocked by the end next day. We let it run overnight and dumped all of that ice.

Cut out hidden handles at the top and bottom of the door. I was definitely hesitant when I picked this model, but we actually really like it. Very clean look and easy to open from the top or bottom. We have kids as young as 3 who open it no problem... It's too high for them to get anything, but they can open it to "help" with lunches or putting away groceries. We like the convert drawer for snacks for this very reason. We can put healthy kid snacks in each bin at an easy level for them to reach.
