Grande Alan! Parabéns pelo canal. Acho bem interessante vídeos mudos, permite o espectador interpretar mentalmente, algo parecido com os gibis que líamos na infância, apesar de lá ter diálogos, as imagens estáticas permitiam a mente viajar na continuidade das cenas. Uma vez apenas, fiz essa experiência no canal, onde o início do vídeo era mudo… mas alguns espectadores não gostaram muito não, desceram a lenha 🤭. This unit controls the amount of time AC sine wave voltage is applied to the target. AC is in the form of negative and positive sine waves, 50 -60 times a second. If you measure the voltage output, you probably won't measure much of a voltage change, as this unit controls how long sine wave voltage is applied to the unit you're trying to control. For example, at low output, sine wave voltage may only be applied, 30% of the time, whereas at full output, voltage is applied 100% of the time. These units work well with resistive loads, they work well with universal motors ( brushed motor used in grinders, drills, saws etc). Universal motors have tremendous torgue but their speed control sucks, so you will be able to slow your grinder down, but it will not maintain the speed you select, under load. Motors like treadmill motors require DC voltage, so you would need to connect a bridge rectifier between the output of this unit and your treadmill motor. In between your motor and bridge rectifier, you should install a choke (5.5mh ?) to reduce voltage spikes that may, eventually damage your motor. You should ground the box of this unit.

....i bought it recently...but the main input label was on the fused side rather on a heatsinked side...does it matter,,?..it still worked either way anyway,,.i got confused since the reading on the multimeter on the output side did not change as i turn its pots...falsely advertised to output 10ACV-240ACV ....it was the Am;perage or the wattage that was variable...there was no manual or guarantee on this....confusion on this is possibly viral...but i am glad i learned something and able to share my experience ...Cautious when dealing with mains ...tested on incandecent for scavenged washing machine motor control experiment..i did not feel like this a few days ago...

Só dele em 220v.... Não tem pra 110v ou Bivolt desse mesmo modelo. Os outros que são Bivolt sâo mais limitados porque não tem desse modelo. 😒

Diminui a velocidade. Também diminui o torque? Se diminui o torque fica impossível cortar um monte de coisas.

O dimmer diminui a voltagem, então consequentemente tem perca de torque, no video eu usei uma exmerilhadeira de 2000w então mesmo que eu abaixe a velocidade ainda tem força suficiente para lixar. Pra ter pouca perca de torque tem que usar um inversor de frequência, só que ai estamos falando de um equipamento de mais de mil reais...

These units will not work with regular induction motors , but. If you unit has brushes, this controller may work with it

@@silviu8672 your drilling machine would require a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to properly control its speed, if you continue to try to control its speed with the type of unit shown in this video, you'll "smoke" the motor. An induction motor such as yours, requires frequency control as well as current control to properly manage speed, and this is what a VFD does.
