Not sure why you have so many dislikes, I thought you did a great job with this review. You showed a lot of the features of the car, you actually drove it, and summed up a lot of the important stats. I understand people's comments about your voice pitch rising towards the end of a sentence, but this is exactly as we speak in this part of Wales so I didnt notice it until people commented. Subbed!

Hi all, I owned a 2007 335D for nine years , done 262000 miles, very little trouble ,just minor glitches, Diesel Particulate Filter at 120k. just traded in for a same colour Blue 330d Sport 2014 with 20k on clock, superb car ,again as others have said TWIN!!! Turbo power is awesome, quicker than most cars on the Road, with economy. Run flats are hard and terrible if you hit a pot Hole hard will crack an alloy, Run flats don't have Gel, just very stiff side walls, and at least you don't get stranded. Once got puncture on way to Airport, still made the flight. Ordered new Tyre whilst away, fitted on day of return, (normal tyre would have missed the flight).you can change to standard tyres, no room for spare wheel, so just carry a foam re filler in the boot, these really work well. Also if Tyre losing pressure light keeps coming on ,fill tyre with foam ,sorts most slow leak issue, unless bad puncture, will sort leaks against wall of alloy. Do not hesitate ,if thinking of buying one of these cars, sport Plus acceleration can cause tail snaking the Torque is so awesome. Again down to Twin Turbo power on this superb Engine. Economy plus for Motorway gives excellent Fuel Economy, but you can turn into Lewis Hamilton by the flick of a switch. Paddle shift also brilliant, I always drop through gears coming to a junction, let the engine do the slowing down, not your Brake Pads (my Dad always taught me this got 84k out of last set of pads) Just buy one and enjoy, M Sport is the version to go for ,better handling, seats alloys etc...

Brian Benson Mine is mostly driven in Eco Pro on B roads with little to no congestion which is probably why I’m getting 45 mpg. That’s not to say I don’t use it in Sport Plus occasionally though ;-)

Have the very same vehicle 2016 same colour same engine but with the led headlights. 47 mpg but 90% driven on comfort in eco pro it just responds poorly so no worth it.

Just traded in my 2015 330d m sport for a 2016 BMW X5 2.0 diesel. Worst thing I’ve ever done. You just can’t beat the 6 cylinder Diesel engines, great power. Now have my eye on a 335d. Great cars.

Run flats have a much stiffer tyre wall that not only upsets ride quality but is detrimental to handling. Also they tend to cause alloy rims of 18" or larger to crack. No gel in them as far as I know. Any real drivers throw them straight in the bin and fit proper tyres.

I don’t own that car but I did own a 2017 420d m sport couple also in this blue and it was perfectly reliable for the two years I had it bar a recall on the ABS.

Great video review. Very informative. Did this particular model have adaptive suspension? I'm struggling to find one second hand that has adaptive suspension. How is the ride in sport mode? Too firm? Thanks in advance.

Nick Howard thank you. No just the standard suspension. The ride quality from what I can remember was a little firmer in sport mode but not particularly uncomfortable.

Incorrect information on run flat tyres.There is no gel inside BMW approved run flats,or any of the modern run flats , they rely on reinforced side walls to support the tyre when deflated,just let the air out of the valve and you will see.

They’re a fucking nightmare. I was driving around with a flat tyre and I didn’t even know. Ended up with a baldy tyre and had to spent £350 on two new run flats. I think I’ll get different tyres next time.

Derek Durie tyre pressure indicator, I had a shredded tyre at 80 mph on a wet motorway, immediate catastrophic deflation. Normal tyres would not have saved me.

Run flats just have harder reinforced sidewalls which allows you to drive a bit after you have a puncture. Not that puncture gel stuff. Not sure why you revved it as well near the start, all diesels sound terrible 🙄 I have 1 by the way not knocking it

You only really notice its a diesel on start-up. I've had passengers ask if it's diesel or petrol. For a diesel, it sounds really good when you accelerate hard - lovely muted growl. Most of the time it's barely noticeable.

Many are complaining about BMW reliability, but none of them have it. Most are not following service requirements, and most owners are choosing a dodgy mechanics to save money. BMW are expensive car, expensive to service, is you did not look after it, expensive to repair. Oh yeah choose a qualified BMW service centre or at least knows the mechanics of BMW, it will cost you more to service but it’s worth it.

speedfrc for your information mr.viewer it is a 330D, note the very obvious badge on the right side of the bootlid and has a single turbo. The 335D is bi-turbo. Do take care to watch the review before commenting in future.

speedfrc your car has a twin power turbo. It’s still 1 single turbo charger. The 330D uses the N57D3001 motor. Only the 335D has twin turbochargers. Don’t mix twinpower with twin turbo.
