I almost purchased this study bible last weekend, but decided to not be so impulsive. I'm happy to see that you already have a detailed review up about it. I definitely feel more confident about going ahead with the purchase now. Thank you for such a detailed review, Pastor. 👍🙏 You're right about the maps in the Holman books. I ended up picking up the Holman Ultimate Bible Guide. They do a fantastic job with the maps.

I like the fact that you note there's some things you think are wrong and/or disagree with, but you don't down the whole thing. This looks to have a lot of factual information in it, so it's very good not to throw the "baby out with the bathwater."

Which study bible would you recommend or say is the best with the notes explaining the text and giving the best information of what was going on in the text? I want to learn more about the bible and what was going on during the events that is recorded

I scanned through one this morning at the book store. And they have a note on acts 2:38 specifically talking agains oneness Pentecostals and called us heretics. I think they need to stick to apologetics

@God is Good twisting of scripture is what the trinitarian doctrine is. God never said he is three in one, or that “they” are co- equal co- eternal. Never said he was made up of one two and three persons. That’s made up doctrine, and I’d suppose you would try to make a case regarding the apostolic fathers, and miss interpret words like Elohim. If you want to debate these things, go to Facebook group ( oneness vs trinity) or(wwgs) See you there.
