One more thing, Polk has among the best customer service in this industry. When I got my LSiM 707's I accidentally fried the tweeters testing high frequency test tones on them and not only did they send me new tweeters free of charge they even sent me a new plinth base as I had accidentally damaged one while shipping to another home I own. Mind you I bought these speakers second hand.

Love Polk audio , I worked at audio store ,and we could buy from their employee program . I own all Refrence series Mohagany book shelf with a reference sub ,run by a Denon 3803 and , Parasound 250 watt 5 channel amp ... Awesome sound Polk Audio ... Mathew Polk Thanks ... Awesome soundstage ...

Thanks steve i agree, the price is a lil much , I 'm very glad Polk Audio came out with a new kick ass speaker line , because my first set of new high end speakers were polk and they were amazing and built right ,I hope to one day be able to have companys send me product to review i been having to buy everything I review which i do buy alot of audio IDK i'm just a huge Audio and music enthuist . I just like to tune in and tune out man !

I'm reading between the lines that they might not be the most transparent, dynamic ''alive'' speakers out there. Maybe in the same ballpark as the Buchardt S400. And what about that Denon amp, any good?
