Hello. I really appreciated the verification of the pointer position when changing the angle of the pen. It looked like the pointer would be right under the root of the wick like the Apple Pencil. I loved your review. I was thinking about buying a Cintiq 16 but when XP-Pen announced the Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2) I was seriously unsure which one to buy. I was just looking for a direct side-by-side comparison between the two. Thank You! I saw some complaints about jittering in the XP-Pen's drawing, do you think this problem combined with this cursor offset makes the drawing experience inferior to that on the Cintiq 16?

I have seeing reviews of this particular tablet, and they said is better than cintiq 16 for the quality but obviously less screen space.

The 16K levels of pressure is a logical thing and is controlled from the firmware. So the software engineers can modify it to make it seem like it's even 32K levels of pressure. Now I think that higher PPS is necessary if the logical pressure is high. With the physical pressure range it's a different story and is not something that can be controlled. Physical pressure range is measured in gram force( example : 2gF to 400gF) and is estimated by the strength applied on the pen's nib to compress it against a surface.

I’m a traditional artist but I’m looking into getting a tablet because I want to start getting into digital art as well. I have been looking at XP-Pen tablets because of the price. But I have some questions… With or without touchscreen? Is there a particular model you think I should look into? If you have any other advice for me I would really appreciate it! I will use the tablet mainly for digital art but also editing scans of my traditional art.

How is the cursor accuracy when you get near the edges of the screen? I found Huion tablets to have a major problem with this and I hesitate to buy an XP Pen tablet because of it. On the Huion I had it made selecting tools or menu commands quite annoying, and would even lose accuracy from near two inches away from the edge on certain sides of the screen. I'm somewhat disappointed to see that the cursor accuracy doesn't properly track when you angle the pen certain ways, but I am not sure if that is a deal breaker for me.
