I bought this today on eBay at special offer for $194 (all in) after your review. many thanks. I was going for auto focus but I needed it to be fixed most of the time once set, so paying extra will not be a benefit. 4k - high detail, larger base, well built 10.1 inch IPS screen, High zoom, Ring light, filters/diffusers, various modes: compare, ruler, connecting to multi external screens - its a steal

I've just taken delivery of one of these and am really impressed with it. It is a major plus that I can use my PCB holder (the same as yours) with it. My existing, much smaller microscope could not accommodate this. Tomlov have done a great job. Worth every penny.

Dislike. Why? Because there are people like me who only use a microscope like this with their PC. It wouldn't have been a big deal to connect the thing to a PC via USB and test it. For example, is 4K actually transmitted? Does everything work without problems? Etc.

I use Linux. When I plugged the USB cable into my linux laptop, the screen first worked as a USB SD Card reader, but had a "push OK to swtich to UVC". When I did that it reported as a: "RaySmartTech VMS101S", and I was able to access a HD (1920x1080p) video feed directly using Open Broadcast Studio. [Without adding any extra drivers to Ubuntu 22.04] I suspect that if you installed the proper drivers/software on windows it would do a higher resolution, but you'll have to find somebody else who has reviewed it using a windows computer to know that for sure.
