REVIEW - VIBE SLICK coaxial 6 inch car speakers

I can say personally i own these speakers. they are very good for the money. I have used pioneer speakers in the same price range and they suck in comparison. the Vibe FLI speakers that are a step below these aren't quite as clear and are more bass heavy. these are great at pushing out mids and some low end as well but can get distorted when pushed too loud but at this price that's gonna be expected. They don't get distorted too easy though you really have to try and deafen yourself to make them do that! overall not the most amazing sound stage but certainly has bass that you'll enjoy and feel without messing up the song they are great! I was going to upgrade to a set of JBL stage 3's but i feel like these are very similar and i'd rather look at the Alpine R series!

A speaker has only one purpose: to produce sound. And it's the only thing you do not talk about in this video. Without good sound quality nothing else matters.

I bought these here in UK. I don't know what all the fuss is about? They sound awful, only slightly better than my stock speakers. Running them through an 80W RMS amplifier and DSP. Had to set a lower frequency cutoff at 80hz, trying to play any lower results in terrible distortion at volume. Which brings me to my next point... They are rated at 80W RMS... Yeah right! If I actually put that power through them, they wouldn't last 5 minutes. You only have to look at the speaker wire they supply to realise they are junk, needed a magnifying glass the find the wire strands. Decided to replace them with MTX Thunder TX2s. Wow! What a difference. Build quality and sound quality on another world in comparison. They are rated at 65W RMS and I believe they can handle that power, I have zero distortion at all volumes from these AND they are cheaper than the vibes.

Neither do I... I am not sure where one could buy car speakers that are pre installed for a little listen session. Perhaps you could pop us a link in the comments to someone who has that kind of service. Hope to hear from you. Thanks for the comment

Just fitted some of these to the rear as I have the cven 6 up front. They're great for the money. The jl audio c2 650x is clearer but jl tweeter is too soft and thin for guitar and rock. £60 vs £200 shows how good value they are.

Problem with sound demos is ContentID. You can get your channel removed through Copyright Strikes very quickly if you're not careful.
